  • @1:38 David Peterson and I again.

  • @4:03 David Peterson and I are chi sao

  • I am proud...

  • great to see William Cheung and Wong Shun Leung together in happier times

  • @discoowl two great masters

  • 1:41...........The mirror behind the wooden dummy is broken

  • who is the person with Grandmaster WSL at 2:51 ?

  • @MrSinantra He's Victor Kan.

  • @Tricroman he looks quite similar to Grandmaster William Cheung

  • @MrSinantra

That is the worst disrespect imaginable.

Ole Willie Cheung is never mentioned in serious Wing Chun circles & you compare WSL to that pretender?

  • @DizzyDerwish uh right... You guys are a joke man honestly why dont you guys just train and have the teachers keep their thoughts to themselves, really every martial art fuckin laughs at you guys and your stupid little bickering over whose telling the truth and whose wing chun is ip mans, do you think that might make you a better martial artist because it wont bud, doing the hours of hard training is what will make you good, mate.

I respect both WSL and Grandmaster Cheung.

  • @MrSinantra i train under William Cheungs and i've met real wing chun practioneers of WSL's disciples and leung tings and many other linages the ones that actually trained hard have no interest in this bullshit because they know the art works for them so before you call William a pretender his got students that are very good fighters so your a joke to call him a pretender because his system works. but seriously i cant care less i asked a simple question and i made a suggestion.

  • @MrSinantra

Sorry for you that you train under Ole Willie.

What if I were to say I train under Emin Boztepe?

Does that name ring a bell?

  • @DizzyDerwish haha yeah it rings a bell, I have no anger against him if thats what your trying to point towards. I applaude his skill but really to be honest he got maybe two punches in or one and ran away which shows he fears William haha so if you consider that a fight your a joke thats more of a disgrace. William Cheung also is a stand up fighter, not a ground fighter thats why he's trying to get up and if he did he would have mangled him.

  • @MrSinantra

Ironic how you talk about disgrace since Ole Willy can only find work in obscure countries now. Indeed he's the only person on earth who has NOT benefited from the internet since the whole world knows what Emin did.

Shame that Ole Willy never knew any ground work, & has nothing to pass on to you, b/c again, due to modern media, the whole world knows the value of ground work.

Yet I learned the ground form 30 years ago from Augustine Fong. Yes, there's a ground form in Wing Chun.

  • @DizzyDerwish okaie what are you arguing about, what difference does it make to your life whether some one respects william cheung and trains under him or not, none so what the fuck do you care. Dude as i've said a hundred times now train your system i'll train mine. I have no interest in what linage you train or who you speak to or know it makes no difference. Seriously other martial artists look at this and laugh. Each to their own. All systems of martial arts work.

  • @MrSinantra

You naively say "All systems work..."

That's like saying all brands of cars work equally well.

Willy's system crumbled under Leung Ting's system in the hands of Emin Boztepe.

I can't condone charlatans like Willy who rip off poorly-informed/poorly-discerning Eastern Europeans. It is even more unacceptable when equally clueless beginners start comparing Willy to Wong Shun Leung.

  • @DizzyDerwish William Cheung's system has parts of the form which are flawed on purpose but if you train and understand the forms and system you'll understand the flaws and know thats not obviously how you would use it. Chinese martial arts have secrets they add flaws you need to train to understand them. But seriously this argument will go no where and has no meaning so why be little children i wanted to watch the video and enjoy thats all. gee

  • @MrSinantra

So who are you going to learn the ground form from?

    Who?

    You've got nobody!

Ah, but that's the beauty of it, isn't it,- the unknowable- training as you do in a flawed system!?

You are misguided to think that flaws have been built in, and naive to believe it's a readiness thing.

You should not settle for such an explanation, let alone pay for it.

  • @MrSinantra

You said it best yourself, speaking of the world-famous video showing Emin wiping the floor with Willy, who is as you admit, "... not a ground fighter that's why he's trying to get up..."

Then you go from the obvious to the hypothetical, saying IF he did get up, he would have mangled Emin.

    If only!

If only! (Life seems full of if only's, doesn't it?)

The problem is Willy didn't get up.

Now he only finds work in Serbia, despite his stunning red silk outfits.

  • @DizzyDerwish hey dude, do you think that would save you if you fight against a student of William Cheungs bud you gotta train dont worry about the past look at it and move forward. You should be seeking to be humble not what you are. Grandmaster Ip Man would be ashamed of you and that incident. If He really had the heart to fight him why didnt he say fuck you i wanna fight you and shape up. That video is a joke man, but like i said im sure sifu Emin is embarassed of that rubbish.

  • @MrSinantra

Why would anyone be embarassed to take out the garbage? It had to be done & Emin stepped up. Willy had issued an open challenge to the world- his choice- now let him live with the consequences.

Will you now say that Ole Willy was too honorable or had too much integrity to stoop to brawler Emin's level & contact him for a standing-only rematch?

It's the NERVE of Ole Willy that gets me. Despite his humbling, he keeps promoting himself in his red silk outfits in places like Serbia.

  • @DizzyDerwish As Grandmaster Ip would be. But anyway i have nothing more to say if your going to be childish be childish i've used Grandmaster Cheung's system and i know many others that have so each to there own as Grandmaster Cheung puts it. In Fact im good friends with the man, i have nothing but good things to say about him and his martial arts ability. Anyway goodluck in your training. I bet that if sifu Emin heard you he'd think your a child. any way goodluck.

  • @MrSinantra

Of course Emin would only agree with my position, which is on top, just like he was when he humbled Willy.

  • @MrSinantra

I am underwhelmed by your sources.

I SPOKE to Wong Shun Leung in his school in Hong Kong and I have BEEN to Leung Ting's school there as well. Further, my instructional line(not merely a 'students of' lineage as you can only say) is Yip man-> Ho Kam Ming->Augustine Fong.

There's the authority by which I speak.

And there's what we think of Ole Willy in his flash, hyper-oriental outfits exploiting such discerning markets as Serbia.(!)

  • @MrSinantra

    What an asinine notion.

You're saying that practice makes perfect.

    IT DOESN'T.

    Practice makes PERMANENT.

If you practice a sloppy form, then only sloppy is your reward.

Doing 10,000 push-ups a day won't make you any good at Wing Chun.

Indeed that well-intended effort will only impede your progress.

If you train hard day & night with Ole Willie Cheung or his dupes, you've drunk muddy water.

  • @DizzyDerwish lol your seriously a joke, where is the humbleness of you, you obviously havent trained hard at all, it cant be wrong because i've used my wing chun against many different opponents and many other martial artist look up to me i even teach, i understand my Wing system and know how it fits my body and understand it because i put the hours in sweating my ass off for it. Kung fu is not meant to be sloppy but effective you must be shit with your technique if thats the case

  • @MrSinantra

    To be perfectly clear:

You may have invested a great deal of time, effort, and maybe even money in something, but you have made a misguided investment. Your time, effort and possibly money have been wasted because the system you learned was flawed.

Of course Kung Fu is not meant to be sloppy, and that was my whole point, dumbass-because that is what you have accomplished in Ole Willy's incomplete system.

  • @DizzyDerwish lmao William Cheungs system looks much better then all of them, to be honest, Wsl looks fuckin shit there in that part were his sparring with the wanna be Bruce Lee, if you call that good then mate Wing Chun has shit fighters and thats a shame anyway as i've been trying to say for the last week, you train your system and i'll train mine, im happy i know my version works for me thus its not flawed, stop being a little bitch and argument over, useless rubbish

  • @MrSinantra what you know about wong shun leung he tought bruce lee shithead

  • @safet215 where did this come from ?.

  • great tribute

  • Wow, love that the sound is back on this! Gunna be flying out to train under one of Wong Shun Leungs students at the end of the month. Sifu Gary Lam. RIP WSL

  • Could have been studying under Wong Shun Leung when he was running his school at Granville Road in Tsimshatsui back in the 70' in HK. Respect!!

  • Without the background song 'Young forever", it would have not been perfect like this.

  • ***absolutely amazing video***

  • This artist was unbeaten in his street fight era... Imagine what it would have been like to have been taught a real lesson back then... the hard way! Some people must still be recovering to this day! Only one Wong! Respect

  • the real teacher of bruce lee

  • Love the picture at 1:22, reminds me of a story that Grandmaster Cheung told me recently about him and Grandmaster Wong fighting some guys together and how they saved each other many times during real fights.

Two great fighters who were the two best at the two different forms of Wing Chun meaning Chan Wah Shan's version (Wong Shun Leung) and Leung Jan (William Cheung).

  • Very touching.

  • One of the best Video Clip I have ever come across of

Si-Kung (my teacher Si-Fu) Wong Shun Leung .

Great presentation!! Nice tribute to a true Master/Si-Fu.

  • He is the reason why Bruce Lee was creating Jeet Kune Do...to Counterattack Wong

  • @kr8dle you talk a load of rubbish you clueless clown

  • @58dragonmist Jeet Kune Do was meant to Counter Wing Chun!

  • @kr8dle no it was not you have it wrong. jeet kune do was never made to counter wing chun.

  • @58dragonmist Read the Tao of Jeet Kune Do and look at the techniques and tell me that it was not used to counteract Wing Chun

  • @kr8dle i have done so many times you are wrong it was not nor ever created to counter wing chun

  • @58dragonmist Well Jeet Kune Do was never completed....Jeet Kune Do was also a combination of styles. Bruce Lee from what I interpret found flaws in Wing Chun...If you study Martial Arts I would love to study styles and learn...I could be wrong about Jeet Kune Do and Wing Chun...

  • @kr8dle no worries i have trained in martial arts for 32 years now. i interpret things the way i see them. the dat i stop learning is the day i stop training.

  • @58dragonmist 32 years....If I would of known I would of shut my mouth a long time ago...and learn

  • @kr8dle

How could BL 'find flaws in Wing Chun' as you interpret it, since he never had the patience to learn the complete system?

In Wing Chun circles we never mention these people.

  • a truly amazing video!!!!!!!well done

  • the photo at 0:53 where did you find this? it is an amazing photo. id love a copy of it.

  • @wingger07 me 2 man.

  • 2:29 is AWSOME!

  • great master....

  • Best Wing Chun Master ever! Sifu Wong Shun Leung will not be forgotten.

  • Very nice!
