  • I agree 4evadreamer. Religiously I would watch this show on our small black and white TV we had growing up in the south Bronx. I truly miss these educational shows like this.

  • I am disappointed to say that shows have officially gone down hill. I would rather watch this nonsense than Jersey Shore or any other crappy shows brought to you today by Disney. Sheesh!

  • no wonder we did ACID !!!

  • Those girls were great, I used to passively watch them in the 70s. I hope after the show was off the air they avoided the OD ing on heroin or morphine. On the other hand, they would have been fun to go cross country with on a VW bus. Too bad in 93 they did not show up on Beavis and Buthead's TV aheah aheah aheah aheah

  • Anyone ever calculate the street value of that garden?

  • has anyone made a metal version of this yet?

  • my mom used to watch this show when she was younger

  • you should make a youtube remake of the show!!!

Maybe go to a park or film it in your backyard..

You sound a lot like them..

If you need some script ideas or need ideas on what to do I could help you on that..

We could work right through the web with that

I remember this show back in the 70's into the early 80's,,,,innocent and fun,

  • For those who may not know, 10 episodes of the 53 made were released on DVD. It can be had on Amazon for $30 or in various places for $15. Its delightful :-)

  • @Colortiniz did WPIX TV NY have a fire back a number of years back and lost a lot of the original episodes?

  • Great redition. You both sound just like Carole and Paula. I'm 42 and this brought me back, I was in tears here the theme song again after so long. Thanks a bunch.

I'm 41 man now and was an only child and this show and all the pix kid's programming in the 70's kept me entertain as a kid and are some of my fondest memories as a lil boy.

There's plenty to do as a member of the Patchwork Family!

    because it's certified and stated

  • GAH. I was ON the Patchwork Family. The host knew my teacher, Mrs. Lefkowitz, and once in a while she'd bring a group of us up to film some segments at CBS. I got to see a tiny bit of the set from "Captain Kangaroo" and it was the most exciting thing in the world.

I'm happy to see that someone remembers that theme song besides me!

  • I think the Magic Garden is due for a remake, starring the two gals who sang this song.

  • Look, we want the original, authentic theme song, not your version of it.

  • I always had a HUGE crush on the chubby one, and wanted her as my girlfriend!

  • so do you still like chubby ones?

  • Can someone tell me how to do the thumbs up thing? I really want to add them to this comment. This is such a great post. I've been wanting to get a glimps of this since forever. Also, one of my earliest TV shows. I was a PBS kid :-) Thanks!!

  • ohh my gooodness ive been looking for this for so long!!! .. hahahah i love them!!!

  • WOW, This Video brings me back, way way back, to the late 70's. My favorite show back in those days was batman and robin the episode's with catwomen were off the weedwacker. I was learning to play my own guitar in my Magic bathroom thanks to that catwomen. I use to bust batman up everytime it looked like he was going to hookup with her.A MEOW always got her off the hook, Penguin, joker and riddler never got that special treament from the law

  • because we're both screwed up. help me.

  • I have an urge to slash my wrists lengthwise.

  • I really miss this, thanks so much for the memory of it!

  • the kind of show they sadly dont make anyomore

  • Good times good times....

  • GOOD TIMES was a good show to and whats happening. "no roger no rerun, no rent, no roger no rerun no rent.

  • Is there a posting of the original theme? No offense, this is wonderful, but I want to see the original

  • Brings back great memories thanks.

  • Reagen and his damn war on drugs. I guess all good things have to come to a end.

  • I remember you two; I watched this show on Channel 11 as a kid in the early to mid 70s.

Man! I'm giving my age away!

  • not only your age, you also must be from new york.

  • That, too.

  • these were the best

  • No offence, but your voice is a little dead. it sounds as if you are reading the lyrics off a sheet of paper. You need more personality and passion in your voice. I think Freddie Mercury would have been great singing this song. Style baby style.

  • this was great brings back lots of memories

  • OMG!!! I'm so old!

  • Dear God! This just reminds me of how damn old I really am!!!! LOL!!!!!

  • Why cant I find the good by song!!!
