wow. completely and utterly, AMAZING. Damon does some horrific things, but that doesn't make him a monster. He's driven by the need to protect Stefan,and later Elena, at all costs, not caring who gets caught in the crossfire or what if it leaves him in the cold. he also lashes out when he's hurt...which is often. you really captured that. great job!!

@dx09girl That's so true. Damon is left behind all the time. Each time he trusts someone they betray him... So I don't think it's weird that Damon don't trust people so fast, because of his own experience. He loved Katherine so much, but she just played with his feelings. Elena did the same thing in the begining of Season 2, she USED Damon to get information about Katherine, she knew what Damon felt for her so she used that to get the informatian she needed. (1/2)

@dx09girl Stefan always told Elena ''Damon is a monster, he can't be trusted'' But actually it's Stefan the who ruined the trust by Damon. Each time Damon trusted him, he goes behind Damon's back with another plan (think about Season 1, Fool me Once) and Stefan doesn't give Damon a normal change because he on forehand thinks Damon can't be trusted. Damon feels that. So it's part Stefan's fault, the way he reacts to Damon... And Damon had so much to take, everyone he loves rejects him. (2/2)
