I tried learning that part myself (found some awesome sheet music), and discovered that doing that part one-handed is very difficult because you have to voice 2 different parts at once (the alternating perfect fifths and the counter-melody). I ended up just moving that counter-melody to the right hand an octave upwards.

I was losing to Brock, but that was because I never understood type advantages when I first got Pokemon. I thought it was just a coincidence that sometimes things would be "super effective" and sometimes it wouldn't. After I figured out that, for instance, I should use grass to beat water, or flying to beat fighting, I beat this game like a unruly demon seed.

my first game was pkmn silver, but before that i watched it on tv too. after that i played co-op ruby/sapphire with a friend of mine in a holiday. later, i first bought myself pkmn emerald, and then firered. the only thing i like about gen 4 is the music, and i absolutely hate gen 5. so far ive played almost every pokemon game(not: B&W, G&C, D&Pt, R, B) i consider myself average on being "a true player", but i DO recognise every pkmn by looks, and even by sound!
