How'd you get that bolt at 3:13 to come out? I was able to get the nut on the other side of it out but I can't figure out how to remove the bolt because I'm really dumb hahaha.
@paisteboy na, mines a 2003. it's pretty stupid where it is. same thing with u guys big ole chunk out my hands lol from hitting random stuff while unbolting it.
Just to clarify Mitsubishi was not owned by Chrysler. It was a joint venture between the two companies called DSM Diamond Star Motors. Diamond for Mitsubishi and Star for Chrysler. The Eclipse Talon Laser and a few other cars were produced during this time but the 7th generation Galant was never produced under any other name than Mitsubishi. It was made in America for the most part but in 94 a some were made in Japan and some in America. If made in japan the vin# will start with J.
thats the one main thing i dont like about the jap cars is the alternators are in such a pain the the A spot, looks like a nice little car ive never seen a galant in person. gotta love gettin cuts and scrapes when workin on stuff :)
Yeah, it's wierd because the car was made in America and Mitsubishi is owned by Chrysler if I heard correctly. I guess the design is definately Japanese though. I hate getting cut when i'm working on stuff too, but it happen from time to time.

@FrancisTheGook
Once you remove the nut it should just slide out. Yours may be stuck. Try some penetrating oil on it.
