yo for some reason at shops i cant buy phoenix downs im at same time and place as you are i did kill about 20 Dastias but with phoenix i was taking from a specific chest not by chaining wolves but now that i wanna buy more no one sells, im playing the international if tha helps

Do you think I should go back and do it some more?, I have a save right before I got party members or will I be able to level up quicker later on in the game?

Could you believe that I just try this leveling method... once I hitted level 25 and after chaining like 70 of this guys, I got some HP back so I unarmed myself and hit myself to lew it down... well Vann comboed himself 4 Times! killing himself!, what are the friggin odds of that!

U can use the wolf to make sure van doesnot kill himself just get a wolf to attack u to a certaint point when our helth is under 10% then u go back but dont kill the wolf itl break the chain and everithime yout hp gets high use the wolf ;) i call the wolf my bitch xd

Haha ^^ It´s funny that I reseted my PS2 over and over and over again to get lots of gil but since lvl 4 to lvl 16 Where I started off with 23 Phoenix downs like this walkthrough and such, my money at the beginning was 4700Gil and after all the lvling up to lvl 16 I got back to Rabanastre, sold my goods and bought phoenix downs...And all the Gil that was left was the same as before only, it was 4784...How the f*ck can you people get so much effin money?!?!?!?!?

you probs figured this months ago, but if you fight another enemy, or touch a save crystal, your chain is broken. meaning it's worth heading to the westersand merchant to maintain your game for as long as you want to/have time to play, but when you want to save, head to rabanastre, cause you're chain would be broken regardless.

I didn't make it up. How about I rephrase it, you lose 2/3 of the efficiency because all the EXP doesn't go to one character anymore, it's divided into 3 instead. As more characters join, the more worthless this method is, unless it's for something else besides EXP

i know someone who didnt attack dustia but attacked the zzombies it spawned and he eventually got up to a 99 chain and over 10,000 lp and had also became lvl 55 but do you know how to do this because i also want to try this but i dont know the right gambits

At level 70+, I believe you can get to Giru without changing your equipment, but once there, you might find yourself struggling. But if you know what to get, then you should be able to finish the game with ease. The ultimate optional foes however, you're not even close.

You knew you gotta change your weapon as you hit yourseld, to avoid combos? well, 73-chain isn't too high. I once had a 2 hit combo at chain 178. I survied with 2 hp -.- After that I ALWAYS changed weapon to avoid such stuff again.

if Vaan is low on HP so there is a possiblity for him to kill himself, just chance his weapon equipment to reset his attacks, he won't make more hits then, and it's better then starting all over again :O Happy leveling ^_^

I chained Vaan from level 4 to level 40 and i got really sleepy and sloppy, so i used a pheonix down on myself instead of dustia and i waited for it to die and realized too late and died of the dark. Stupid mistake. XD

save your game then. :P you'll break the chain but by then you should have 99 pd's which'll get your chain up to max again every time. just play til you're tired/had enough then save and turn off. come back to it later. it's what i decided to do cause i gave up on it before. determined to waste Dustia til lvl 99 this time though. (wanna be able to get every esper, complete every hunt, then complete the game)

i usually sell my loot and buy for PD from the Merchant in Nalbina, the fat lizard guy, looks like a fat jar jar binks. what ever, you can sell and buy from him without breaking your chain. so you can chain indefinitely.
