why do people assume the Z71 has anything to do with the engine/tranny? its a suspension and skidplate package.... not saying you assume that, just everybody I know says a Z71 sounds better........

i agree the glasspacks got more of a puch to it. I like flowmaster i got the 40 series on my truck, but in this case the 50 series on ur truck aint got nothin on the glasspack

The glasspack sounds tons better. Good choice. The flowmaster has that annoying hollow sound and drones too. The glasspack probably flows better too.

flows way better glasspacks less horses and gas millage and to much echo i got flows on my 79 vette sounds great

Actually gas mileage has improved since i put the glasspack on because it opened it up more and let more exhaust flow out the motor and in turn my engine runs better and gets better gas mileage. Its all personal choice as to what sounds good, I dont like flows because they sound the same on just about every V8 you put them on, and i just like the way glasspacks sound, always have.

Nice truck- did your truck have the cat still on when you had the Flowmaster 50? It sounds louder than mine, otherwise the same.

I have those same wheels on my 93 Blazer off of an 09 Tahoe, they really look awesome on the 88-98 style trucks. They stick out a but farther too, gives a better stance and helps with the handling.
