Conflicts with touring schedules, when he wanted to take time out to wintess the birth of his first kid. The main grievances were between him and King. In my opinion, I think Bostaph is a technically more consistent and accurate drummer, he's extremely sharp. Listen to Lombardo's playing on the Decade of Aggression, his double bass and ride slip a lot on the faster stuff. Bostaph never missed a beat. Not to decry Lombardo's obvious place as a king of metal drummers - that would be lunacy.
