I think if everyones honest, DBTT is a crackin album, far superior to DOYS. Not to say I dont like some of the tracks on DOYS, but as an album its su-standard.

yeah i found DOYS disappointing but not because of the songs individually just that there were no songs that were 'in your face'. That's what makes a good album i think; a good line between rock n roll songs and songs you can just appreciate while having a quiet one. Thats why i like most of oasis' albums.

i like this version, i just which the drums kicked in a bit better. i don't like the one on dbtt as much as the death in vegas one (this one)....by the way this isn't a demo....it's just from the first tracking done with death in vegas which they ended up hating.

I reckon the drums have much more impact on this version, at least when listening in HQ mode. There's a nice jump in volume at 1:06.This is probably due to the lack of dynamic range compression usually applied at the mastering stage (search YT for "loudness war" for more on this). It's a shame that Oasis's albums are mastered to be constantly on the red line.
