  • What does it take to do a planche?

  • @vexion15 Everything: it's one of the hardest exercises you can ever do, it uses and works mostly the shoulders, triceps, chest and traps, this is if you do it correctly (straight arms ).

    also, for the perfect planche your body needs to stay kinda parallel with the ground, making it harder and all your body must be tensed :)

  • all shes doing is leaning her shoulders over to get to the planche then to the handstand

  • you realize this has nothign to do with strength, its all balance.

  • i don't know how you define strength in this video but it's more on balance not strength cause me myself can lift my body using my hands althougth i still have a problem on balancing. all in all, she's not as strong as we think, even though she definitely have a good balancing that would require a lot of training and talent.

    the smaller u r, the less mass u have

    so u need a smaller (in comparison to adults) portion of your body mass to be muscle

    every kid with a little bit of workout should be able to perform it

  • Handstand is motsly about balance. Planche is mostly about strength. You need tremendous shoulders and lower back strength to do it correctly. And that planche press she just did requires some fucking great strength !!

  • That is a basic planche. Most gymnasts, martial artists and bboys can do it. It's a combination of strength and balance. You only need strength to be able to lock your legs, back and arms. The rest is primarily balance.
