vergil would sooo kill nero because 1: nero couldnt beat dante(dante was toying with him even) 2:while vergil was able to fight dante to a draw,dante did beat vergil (but with alot of effort) and 3: add up vergil skill,power,and the fact hes a true son of sparda it= total ownage

I don't know who wins.Dante is the strongest of all(that was proved since he kicked both Vergil's and Nero's ass).If you take it that way Vergil powns Nero since it was Harder for Dante to defeat Vergil rather than defeating Nero.But still we should not forget that in DMC4 Dante is the strongest character of all(even of Sparda) while in DMC3 Dante is not that strong...Who knows propably a draw bettween Vergil and Nero but Dante defeats them for sure:xD

@FlameGyu The good guys would win. Why? Because Dante would lose his power. Vergil would have been stronger than Sparda. But the only reason he didnt was because he never embraced his human side.

Sparda loved humans and fought for them, that is why he was so powerful. Dante embraced his human side, which made him far stronger than sparda. Vergil embrassed his Demon side for power. Rejecting his human side which made him lose power.

@MegamanUltima If Dante turned from the beggining with the devil side.Vergil was never with the human side.Dante was always with his human side and he has already unlocked his powers something that Vergil failed to do.So Dante wouldn't lose his powers because he has already unlocked them.Vergil never had them.And you said the reason.He was never with the human side.Also Vergil never lost his powers.In fact he became even stronger(Nelo Angelo) but Dante stopped him.

@FlameGyu I never said he lost his powers in that way. I meant he lost the power he could have gained. No to the first thing, why because Nero is half demon as well but takes up his human side so he'll grow stronger.

Vergil was on human side until the death of his mother. He because Nelo angelo because he lost against mundus and became corrupted Dante's power increases the more he's in his human side. simply as Sparda did, his powers ranged on how he emraced humanity. Dante was strong enough

and If you want to bring in the anime, Dante simply said in the anime n in DMC4 that his power came from him embracing his humanity.

@MegamanUltima Yeah but Dante's power increases more because he fights for his beliefs.He doesn't save the humans because he has too.He saves them because he believes in them.Dante in DMC3 was obviously weaker than Vergil.He lost the first fight because he was acting like a fool.In the second fight he was more serious and it was a draw.In third fight he won because he fought with his heart.He fought for his believes while Vergil fought for power.That is what makes him stronger.His beliefs!

Meaning He didnt care what would happen, and then he lost to vergil. Second time he wanted to stop Vergil, third time he cared about what happened, and tried hard to stop vergil because the part of sparda in Dante was the part that loved humans and fought for them.

@FlameGyu Actually I never noticed that. :s but the only point i was getting was the fact that he embrac ed his human side is what gave him power. Dante has the same power source as Sparda, which was humanity.

Sparda loved humans and fought for them & justice and Dante fought for them as well, not only because he loves humanity but he also fought to defend. Vergil only wanted power to protect. and Im really getting tired of my keyboard messing up everytime i type power

1)Because he wants to get the Amulet and get Sparda's power?

2)Because Vergil joined the demons and Dante fought against them?

3)Or because Dante is responsible for their mother's death and Vergil tries to get revenge?

Which do you think is the right one?As it is mentioned in DMC3 1st and 2nd options are right.But as it is mentioned in the game all of them are right.What was Vergil's true purpose anyway:S

Vergil wanted Sparda's power, and knew Dante wouldn't just hand him the amulet, vergil wanted the amulet to break the seal and gain Sparda's power because he felt that without power he couldn't protect anything and of course it was because of Mundus' assualt on Eva

Vergil was after the power to so he can defeat mundus, but he left the sword for Dante he wanted Dante to be an awesome guy.

@theruinedshadow4 There is not 2 Yamatos... There is only one, which Vergil took with him to fight Mundus. Apparently, years later the Order "found" Yamato, and it was broken. Nero's "unknown power that somehow is related to Vergil's" repaired the sword, and now Nero walks with it.
