  • Gary was a great guitarist, which didnt get enough attention ! My dad showed me Gary about one year ago, and now hes one of my favourite guitarists of all time ! I'm only bummed that I didnt pass 18 before his death, so I was allowed to go to one of his concerts... Rip, Gary ! You are forever in our hearts <3

  • Iwih i was there!

  • Ruined by tampons flying thru the air

  • @SkullCrusherer dont forget phil aswell ! love that afro guy til the death ! <3

  • Ritter aus Leidenschaft ! ;D

  • Much beloved musician, victim of SUN slurs; phone hacking, hypocrisy?ETC. Once again Murdoch and his slimy trolls tried to dishonour a fine, rich life. Gary's legacy is so much wonderful music and inspiring artistry. May The Sun sink and all the grubby souls with neither respect nor decency go down with it. All around the world, people, good people, are saying "Enough of your greed and nastiness." Let the music play and rock on forever Gary. We were blessed to hear you and Phil.

  • @SkullCrusherer ...and Phil

  • this basist is not good enough to replace Phils enthusiasm

  • right now Lynott and Moore are up in heaven with randy rhoads and hendrx blowing the doors off the pearly gates!

  • who the hell couldn't like this?! beautiful LP btw!

  • @1971Goldtop 31 people are idiots....nice name btw! i own a 60 paul, 58 335...and a buunch others..i only play the 2 g's.....GIBSON AND GRETSCH....everything else is uncivilized1

  • @harveydents holy shit, nice guitars. '58 335?!! that's fantastic. I had a '63 that I sold in the 80's. still kicking my ass. I love my Deluxe with the minis but i don't take her out on gigs much anymore so I bought a 2nd hand Epi Ultra II (the one with the nanomag acoustic pup in the fretboard). i put a Seymour Duncan P-Rail in the bridge and a '59 classic in the neck & she's a beast! bought a Gretsch 5120 a few years ago and spruced her up with TV Jones. I like the way u think!

  • @harveydents but I also have to admit, I love my Fender Deluxe American Strat as well. I figure, the more the merrier. =)

  • @harveydents - Heritage have it now, the real deal. If you own genuine vintage guitars you are very lucky, but the new Gibson stuff is trading on a name. I own a Japanese Tokai Love Rock which will equal a Gibson Les Paul and I have had two very nice Lesters. Some people will not believe it, but there you go, I own one, go and play some of the better ones and you will see what I say is fact.

  • @SkullCrusherer Reunited in Heaven for sure the boys are back in town

  • I was lucky enough to see Lynott/Moore/Gorham & Downey as TL in 1978 at the Hammersmith Odeon in London. Still the best live concert I have ever seen. Legends is a word used too easily these days but for these guys it just sums up how good they were/are.

  • Gary was amazing and wrote so many good songs....RIP Gary. Thanks for letting me work for you in the early 90's. I am blessed.

  • yeah gary is awsome, but dont forget Scott Gorham, saw him live yesterday... fuc he is good

  • ___________________/

  • i'm 15 and i know a long time ago , that i would never see Phil Lynnot live , but this February , i was just teared apart with the news ...

  • You say Thin Lizzy's one and only drummer Brian Downey, but I watched two vids tonight with Cozy Powell. Brilliant video btw!!

  • Sykes was great on the last tour Lizzy did, but i agree with wassupyall1, ideal lineup Gary Moore and Lord Gorham.....loved this.

  • They just look like there having soo much fun, thats what i really like about this video its like two old friends reunited reliving their youth through this song.

  • rest in peave gary u and phil can play on forever in happiness far better than any concert down here

  • The ideal Lizzy lineup. No disrespect to Eric Bell (who i never saw live) or Brian Robertson (who I did see w Lizzy). but Gary Moore and Scott Gorham were it guitarwise. just amazing. best band ever. so grateful i got to see them in action.

  • @wassupyall Dont forget John Sykes, He was the best in my opinion :)

  • @chevolution1991 And Snowy White! Let's not forget him. Who I recently saw play with Roger Waters doing The Wall. amazing show.

  • thumbs up if you're doing the same thing that the guy at 0:07 does

  • Awesome....rock dont get any better than this.. people are just beginning to realise just how damm good Gary and PHIL were, rock gods like no other

Both Gary and Phil were rock gods, they will live on through their music and talent forever!

  • @SkullCrusherer Yeah Gary was the man he will be missed.

  • @SkullCrusherer Yeah Gary was the man he will be missed

  • Love the enthusiasm of the bloke @ 0.07 secs. Here's somebody who's waited years for this song to be played live again.I know the feeling very well.Great show only caught it when channel hopping on sky arts, got it on KEEP now and watch it regularly.

  • Les Paul vs Stratocaster, LP wins.

  • @Knutr0mstad

gary moore gibson les paul, his own signature model.

  • God rest your soul GARY!!! I LOVE YOU! You taught me how to play guitar (way back in 1982). My brother had your album, Corridors of Power, from which I first learned your amazing style! Since then, John Norum, Vivian Campbell, and many other guitarists have been carrying on your legend...

  • @phrygian3rd Thats the first album I heard of Gary.He was my fav and still is,and will surly be missed.

  • When I was 17 in 77' I was playing guitar and blasting jailbreak on 8-track.Now Im 50 and I still do on dvd.Its funny how music connects with your soul..A true guitarist knows what Im saying...rest on peace Gary,I will miss you.

  • @journeyman77777

I can honestly relate to your comment, "its funny how music connects with your soul......

a true guitarist knows what I'm saying!!" So bloody true my YT friend. I am very close to your age,

in fact i was 18 in 1977, had been playing guitar for maybe 4 years, and was blown away at the time

by RUSH. in fact, i guess i more or less cut my musical teeth trying to learn to play their earlier stuff,

and some of Alex Lifeson's brilliant guitar work. Thanks again mate!! Steve

  • @journeyman77777 Journeyman I am hearing you. Crackin out the old fender now and playing along...best of times.

  • @journeyman77777 Amen Brother!!

  • un clásico del rock!!!!!!

  • Can I just say, these songs he is singing are Phil lynotts songs, not his

  • everyone knows that wiseman

  • Gary was awesome as a singer as well. Very unique voice. For an instrumental you need to listen to "The Loner", dedicated to Jeff Beck. It's on the Cozy Powell album "Over the Top".

  • Do not disrespect Gary hes my hero. why you watching his great music then. Im with you unravelled1962. Hope your tight fisted yorkshire tractor blows up.

  • R.I.P - Gary Moore - best guitarist ever

  • Girl in 1:50 - I love You !!!

  • Underrated, Sad, G Moore could have done Santana way better than Santana ever did. I can only imagine Gary playing all those Santana tunes(especially recent the ones), Smokin!! I loved the blues stuff Moore did, but prefer the rock stuff.

  • YAAAHH!!! What a great video!!
