@Blistio11 I agree, Supreme Commander is a shit game compared to this, and most of the latest version of C&C are so shitty... BUT, the old C&C versions like red alert, were perfect! And AoE Owns them all, no need to argue about this, who says strategy game says AoE. BUT You need to try Starcraft 2. Best game for now. Real Strategy.

@JaguarKinG95 some dude created a mod server for the game save-ee dot com  its still running, a few fixes they turned of tributes so more more gliching recources, that recource glitch distroyed the game for me i stoped playing it when everyone started gliching.

from the looks of it u are new to the game and cheat pretty well. a true pro or atleast a NON NOOB player would defeat AI by WW1! thats max i would say. i could kill em by imperial. and never choose islands they ruin the fun! :P

@LeaderEE2 WOW! My old PC with a pentium Dual core at 2.93GHz, 2GB RAM and integrated 4500 graphics can run EE2 maxed out at high res. I loved EE2 and played over 300 hours but just think that EE1 was superior. The map editor was far better and the story just felt more fun to play. Im still shocked that you think EE2's graphics were good? They werent good even at the time it was made just look at Company of Heroes released at the same time. Then tell me the graphics are good.

@MW2watchyourback09 If you're playing campain, where max pop is 333, then it's normal that it's not lagging. But if you would play Multiplayer, with full pop (2000), then you would see it needs much better computer. I don't know if you know, but unofficial Patch 1.3 for EE2 has been released and it supports widescreen resolution, so game looks much better than before :) I have played EE1, and I didn't really like it... Maybe because EE2 was my first game...idk....

@LeaderEE2 I have played a match with 2000 people with editors and the such and my pc still didnt lag. Did you look at company of Heroes? Released at nearly the same times and that game looks absolutely beautiful! EE2's graphics were ok. I just found myself playing EE1 more idk why? I got it for christmas one year and have been playing it even since! I played through all campaigns of EE2 and a few multiplayer matches aswell but it just didnt feel the same.

@MW2watchyourback09 Multiplayer and Editor isn't same. On Multiplayer we are playing almost all the time fast pace. If you get full army, and you're attacking with everything, then it's really hard to do something. It's not my opinion only, all players which play MP say same. Of course it's playable, but you can't be enough good. Maybe you've played med pace, then it didn't lagg anymore...I didn't play CoH so I can't compare EE2 to other games from 2006 :(

I am first on skirmish leaderboard on EE2, I've played more than 2500 hours in this game, and I know you need much better comp to play good. I'm on GTX330m, Intel Core i5 M520, 2,9GHz, 4GB RAM and to play normal in fast pace I need almost everything set to medium and low. Maybe you're right with minimum technical requirements, but it's for sure not recommended for Multiplayer.

Lol everyone who says EE AOC was a shitty game, obviously never played it. It is still the longest living single RTS game, with the most skilled players. Every RTS player I ever knew, when they came to EE AOC, claimed it to take the most skill and micro like none other, and I completely agree.

I have played AOC since the day it came out, along with many of my close friends. I miss everything about it - everything from the original days to the TC whoring future.
