Thanks for sharing your recipes. It's a unique way of steaming that I'm just learning - a bowl of something and added sauce. Ignore the ridiculously rude comments, which unfortunately, are common place on youtube.
i love this video ,i seen this like 20 times already ,i love steamed fishhhhh bigtime, !!!
its good when it is steamed, thats the only way i eat it,i need a new steamer cause mine is too small ,i need one like yours so i can put fish ,greens, and veggies every day all day my friend ,this is the best video on youtube
Can you give the recipient for typical lao Mok kai? I know some ingredients but something is missing, is not enough dark and my chicken is not enough juicy. Thank you!
@Snoopies622 I think because he still has to pour the sauce on top ;) lol. I was like ure at first untill I saw the video again then realized the sauce would have fallen through the holes were it not for the plate.

This is another meal I am going to try out of your delicious cuisine. I would like to ask - are you using here fresh or dried chillies? Is it not going to be too spicy? :))

aye man i am vietnamese but i talk better english and born in GA but my mom makes the same sauce but in a much bigger container.and we have the same steamer thing.but ill tell yall people try that sauce that shit is good for real.
This is making me hungry. There's nothing like steamed fish, especially in my favorite local Chinese restaurant. I don't know about the ingredients. I'm no cook. I think they put ginger in it, and the fish is called Basa, which I think is a type of catfish from Viet Nam. The steaming takes out most of the "fishy" taste and leaves it sooooo tender. I didn't like fish and seldom ate it until I tried the steamed fish. This is a good video. I love all Asians!
I loke your song even though I don"t undersand the words

Should I marinated it before to take away the fish taste after it is steam?

Why cook it on a plate instead of directly on the steamer holes? I haven't tried either way yet.

Who the fuck cares??
If a German says that tacos are from Germany who the fuck can say that they are not?
There"s no patent in food, any one can say is theirs.

rdf7777: I think you been eating a lot of shit lately.
You don't think you have a gastric problem?
Every fucking video you watch, you said the same thing.
The food is not the problem, your taste is the one that taste like shit.

Sorry, I laughed when you introduced the fish sauce and then the "lime sauce." Great recipe though! Thanks again x100.
