Exactly, AoC, if bugs will be fixed, has a bright future ahead of it. Give it four years, and when you compare today's WoW to that AoC, then AoC wins by far. Of course by then WOW will have like 3 more expasion packs, but fuck that shit. AoC FTW!

Unfortunately, WHO and AOC not even in the same league. WHO has a lot more nostalgia behind the franchise in terms of gaming, and the game will be playable on almost any computer, while AOC is done with awesome graphics and Story Book feel, it requires however a kick ass PC to do most of the graphics well.

Just so you know aoc is broken, most of the people playing left. seiges do not work. more than 5 players on the screen you drop to under 20 fps.. more than 10 on the screen 5fps. you get where im going. and this is on my duel core 3.2gig 6 gig ram 2x9800gtx everyone else has the same problem

I agree with you. LOTR started with books then movies and then online gaming, the same as AoC, but we must mansion that LOTR online was a total shit, but anyways. WoW on the contrary started with gaming, books and remained gaming online, and hopfully they are making a movie too. I am pretty sure AoC will too, and therefore that combined with the much better graphics will start equally as much initiating succes as WoW had...
But as far as the contents go, well I can't really judge between the 2 games as I've only played WoW, and though I know a lot of "wrongs" in WoW that have been corrected in AoC, I cannot possibly know if the gameplay of AoC is actually better till I have tested the beta properly

Most major MMOs have been using gamecards long before WOW. First time i saw a game card for a MMO and used it was for Everquest PC and that was around 1999-2001. wow doesnt suck it definatly good for the first couple weeks once u get to 70 and pvp for an hour. After that its kind of repeptetitive. Looks lame even with the idea of all NPCs being players instead... If you have ever played a WoW Alterac Valley, then you should have personal experience with how the entire battle is fought with little or no communication most of the time, creating a large lack in teamwork and organization. How will AoC control THAT many players in one battlefield when most of the people will be there just for selfish reasons. Anyone with info against this, please tell.
The sieging combat is for guilds.. the city u can see in the video is made by a guild. Therefore there should be communication within the guild, and not all messy like AV in WoW.
From what I've read they might remove that. There will still be a rival npc village near the guild made cities. But they won't raid you, just attack you when you go outside the gates.. But I dunno, they might make it so they raid you anyways.
I thought NPC's attacking a inactive guild would be good...i have had enough of online games where the landscape is wasted to buildings of players. Ofcourse they should make it easy for the guild to defend agaisnt the NPC attack, its more of a clearance...i would have thought paying NPC's to defend your city would be an easy way of making sure NPC attacks dont destroy it.

From what I've read they might remove that. There will still be a rival npc village near the guild made cities. But they won't raid you, just attack you when you go outside the gates.. But I dunno, they might make it so they raid you anyways.

I thought NPC's attacking a inactive guild would be good...i have had enough of online games where the landscape is wasted to buildings of players. Ofcourse they should make it easy for the guild to defend agaisnt the NPC attack, its more of a clearance...i would have thought paying NPC's to defend your city would be an easy way of making sure NPC attacks dont destroy it.

Not sure why they said they might remove it. Probably cause it might destroy some casual guilds cities cause they won't be on as much. Well, that's what I read, we'll just have to wait untill may 20 to see what happen ^^

There is essentially nothing about this you can compair to Warcraft, aside it being the same genre.
World of Warcraft dident create MMORPG there are litterally hundreds.
WoW simply made an MMO that was more appealing to the majority of the gaming community. Children.
I suspect you no older than age 16, which means you should either
A: Continue to play WoW, this game is to old for you.

ha... thats laughable have you seen the darkfall combat system and animations? its a piece of shit, look at this however, it can run on DX10 with graphics comparable to Crysis, and a realtime non target combat system, now you go for your dwarfs and leave a "real" game with "real" quality out of it you mother fuckin Elf playin Faggot

dark fall could have been out 2 years ago, but they waited. dark fall could have come out last year, but they waited. now what are they doing this year? still waiting. i made the mistake of jumping into a game "wow" because it was the onl ything out at the time, however, waiting to long is not going to solve anything.
