Really good use of that chef knife too. She could have sliced his ankles at the achilles tendons and he would have dropped like a sack of dirt. Okay "Sorority Row" drones...leave this film alone! Yes, I liked the remake more than I typically like remakes, but this film is better for a genuine scare, and an overall creepy feeling!

Don't run down this film...it was shot on a shoe string (as were most of the 80's slasher films), and inspired a remake...something that the re-make will not be able to claim on any level!

That head in the toilet scene...was really, REALLY freaky...and even now it's somewhat effective!

Actually, there are two times when you see her head in the toilet.

The first is when Catherine goes into the stall and sees her head, staring up at her. At that point, her eyes are wide open.

The second is when Catherine is having a flash of images going through her head.

The eyes opening while her head is in the toilet in fact follows along quite well with the other images that she sees. It's rather odd that so many of you are pulling it apart, yet you overlook this major detail!
