  • This isn't awesome or gay, just bad, bad. Or since he is gay,he should be ashamed of his rhythm.

  • The only shame is it wasn't longer and it wasn't done with less clothing on. He would have made a great exotic dancer!

  • I know we laugh but that has happened to all of us and even if u haven't gotten caught u have still danced randomly in ur bedroom with a hairbrush mike

  • White people dancing.

  • me and my daughter heard this in the grocery store got to the casher register and started thinking bout jessie dancing and bust out laughing

  • Not surprisingly, Jesse did not get laid.

  • @RaoulDuKe313 Neither did Glen, but at least he tried.

  • How do you like that DAD!

  • BUSTED!!!!!!

  • >XD haha busted ....

  • Wayne Brady: You're going to being doing examples of the world's worst... things to be caught doing when your girlfriend and mom suddenly walk into the room.

*I step down and do Jesse's stick dance while singing this song*

  • you go there Jesse!

  • pffffffffffffffffffffft

  • i love this part

  • He acts embarrassed, but really those two chicks were stupidly wet because of his rock star persona being on display

  • @lloydthedestroyer

    even his mom? :O

  • Jesse! *pop*

  • god

  • so...I guess Jesse felt is was more important to mention Freddy, rather than make any other kind of "announcement" to his family...we all have our own priorities, I suppose lol

  • Notice the "No Chicks" sign on the door. hehe

  • @joshg123 theres loads of subtle clues, but after the coach gets tied, stripped and whipped with towels its safe to say all subtly went out the window

  • oh, my, fucking, god, hilarious!!!!!

  • yeah wear sunglasses at night and don't fold your laundry I'M SUCH A REBEL

  • Totally 80s!!!!!!

  • this scene is so out of place in this movie.lol if you girl catch you doing a dance number like this and forget you, she can forgive you anything,

  • @FemmeFatalee are you gay

  • @dazlok23 youre mothers a lesbian

  • I love when the mother says "I'll leave you two alone" you know she's thinking "because this kid is as gay as Christmas and it's ok for them to be alone"

  • @reichjoyce HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! and the way he screamss oh godddddddd priceless.

  • @reichjoyce LMFAO

  • HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT, DAD?

  • This is the most homo-erotic movie ever.

Except for 300 and actual gay porn.

  • AND IT'S BEUTIFULL

  • Indeed it is.

  • @WhimsicalQuandary corey haims rob lowe poster in lost boys puts that movie in the running

  • break it down jesse!!

  • Does anyone know the name of that song and who does it?

  • This scene is 80's gayness in concentrated form.

  • what's the name of the song?

  • Why that girl didn't turn around and go back home as soon as she saw that prepubescent future pedophile dancing around like a sissy, is beyond me

  • He has a sign on his door that says "No Chicks", gentlemen, I'm pretty sure he's straight.

  • geez this is gay

  • Later on, Jesse goes to Tom Cruise's house to dance to Bob Seger.

  • Comment removed

  • Thats very funny!!!!

  • ha. right when the girlfriend walks itn.

  • Totally 80s!

  • feels good man

  • I swear Jesse's character was originally written for a female.

  • A lesbian?

  • I never really did like the guys being the heroes in slasher films. Whenever they are it's either this kid or Tommy Jarvis for example. The girls usually seem alot stronger and are better at their roles. Still the movie itself isn't bad hen it comes to Freddy. Just this kid. But that was hilarious!

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the only Nightmare film with a male hero?

    1 had whatsherface

3 had whatsherface and Patricia Arquette

    4 had Alice

    5 had Alice, too

6 had that Freddy's irritating shrink daughter

    7 had whatsherface again

So, the only time they tried to make a guy the main hero of a Freddy flick, he turns out as gay as Sonny Crockett with a pink fedora.

  • Nope you're right. This is the only NOES movie to have a male hero (though he requires a girl to encourage him enough to fight back against Freddy). Also the girl you're calling "what'sherface" is named Heather Langenkamp who played Nancy.

  • Right, Nancy. Felt kinda stupid for not remembering, because I have seen most of the Nightmare movies at least 10 times. Not 2, though.

Makes you wonder why heroines work so well with Freddy, but as soon as the main character is a guy, it turns out to be a gay bash.

  • Well I don't know about THAT, but I think what makes the female characters work so well is that female characters are often portrayed as "damsel's in distress" and the audience has that lodged in their brains just like the bad guy. But that's why characters like Nancy or Ripley from the Alien series work so well. They do it so well that the guy feels weaker by comparison.

  • @balrog13571 err no

  • @balrog13571 the frog brothers were bad ass, as was charlie brewster, billy peltzer, tommy doyle, brad brown, andy barclay, chris romero, ash, brian flagg, among others

  • im going to dance like this next time i clean my room. LOL!!!

  • Fuckin' Great....very funny....love the song too....i need me some of those gold glitter glasses

  • the red head chick is hot.

    Love the fonda rae song.

  • whoa babyxD

  • Nice song, but Ha ha ha!!!

  • Why does he pop it after his mom says Jesse?

  • i have this on betamax

  • one time when i was like 9, I did the butt bump thing on my dresser drawer, and the HUGE mirror came crashing down on my back

  • hahaha

LMAO...i dnt knw u bet i can just imagine that happening....

--man i luv this scene its soo hilarious/lame

  • @ghostieboo LMAO...I'm sorry to laugh but that's funny

  • @ghostieboo that'll teach you to be gay in future

  • @ghostieboo ha ha....

  • @ghostieboo That's had me in giggles for minutes!

  • at 1:16, Kate Bush poster on door.

  • Just saw that. Totally awesome.

  • Magical. I remember this... It has that rare 80s/vhs/rainy Friday feel and texture. Does anybody else know what I'm talking about?

  • dude i get the same feel with the goonies as a matter of fact pretty much all 80s/90s movies

  • @tspedersen if u like that feel check out "just before dawn"

  • @tspedersen Oh yes i totally know and understand what you tried to described, a way of expressing past feelings and soul being...like all this time that had passed though since that period, a space and time frame we will never ever see again, all the water than passed under the bridges since then...i get that when i listen to The Cure Desintegration album

  • hold me baby drive me crazy touch me all night long hahahahah had that stick in his hand hahahahah pop hahahahah

  • how you like that dad hahahahah tight levis hahahahahaha 1:06 american idol 1;16 dong pop hahahahahahahaha

  • This was the 2nd best part of the whole film! (aside from the coach shower death) scene. Jesse was such a closet case. Ironically, he is gay in real life and I had a massive crush when I first saw him.

  • i had a crush on him too back then I wonder what he looks like now?

  • @regency98us very interesting documentary called "never sleep again:the elm street legacy" will show you what he looks like now. a must see for any nightmare fan

  • he is soooo hottttttttttttttt fuck off u assholes i luv nightmare on elm street!!!

  • That dude looked like such a dork with the hat, shirt, and sunglasses he was wearing towards the end of the clip.

  • Hey, it was the 80s. Go figure. *shrugs* I bet you anything that your kids will probably say the same thing about you someday... or even me. I guess that's what they mean by the term "generation gap".

  • qui chante cette chanson ?

  • It's a band called Wish. There is another version by Cathy Dennis.

C'est un groupe appelé Wish. Il y a une autre version par Cathy Dennis.

  • I'm turning into a werewolf

  • omg. is Mark Patton gay? i hope not. he's cute

  • yes... yes he IS

  • I can't believe Jesse(Mark Patton) Was Gay. awkweird

  • FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE

  • Between this scene and and the possessed bird, I'm hooked!! I've got to see the whole movie!!

  • The two scenes you mentioned are pretty much the only reason for wathing the movie in the first place. The rest of its shit.

  • I think he's a little confused with his sexuality.

  • cork popong nois at the end hahahahaha

  • hahahahahahaahahaha

  • Gay Lol

  • fuckin ledgendary

  • Hillarious scene!

  • this is not a cathy dennis remake song, guys. fonda rae did it with a group called Wish in the 80's. subsequent remakes afterwards. i love cathy dennis but the original artist/s should get credit too. also, for the 500th time, where the hell did that 'pop' sound come from? that thing doesn't pop anywhere!!! i don't know why it's irking me!!!

  • I agree it's just pure 80's fun, people always wanna be so mean about "gay" things who gives a freak? It was cool back then and still is...Bump That !

  • faaaaaaabulous!

  • no its a remake of cathy dennis' originaln song

  • If anybody is curious to now who sings this song, it is Kathy Dennis. The name of the song is Touch Me. I was curious!

  • HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT DAD?!

  • lol

  • He definately looks gay in all of the movie. They should of just gave him a boyfriend. And Freddy would of killed him and that would of been the end of that gay couple.

  • Jack Sholder made it, and for some reason he wasn't even aware of how homoerotic the movie was. :P He also made the cool slasher Alone in the Dark.

  • Yup, he sandwhiched this in between two much better movies: The superior slasher Alone in the Dark, and the sci-fi cult fave The Hidden.

According to a Fangoria articale I have and the NOES boxset (on the bonus disc interviews), the Homoerotic elements were largely unintential from the screen writer (who did the much better I, Madman).

The lead actor Mark Patton ('Jesse') is gay in real life, however, so that's another reason why it came off that way. Hope I helped ...

  • That is the gayest scene I have ever seen from a movie. Wow, what stoner director made NOES2?
