  • Holy shit, self-help people have a lot of off the wall view points and ideas. It doesn't mean their wrong, but it makes you think, "How in the Hell did they come up with this?" Dyer made me think that 2/3 into this video.

  • Wayne has been a big inspiration to me. He teaches us that we can achieve happiness through awareness of the great gifts we are all given but often untapped. I come away from a Dyer talk thinking that life is short and there are a lot of good things left to do.

    Actually Wayne Dyer talks about giving a lot. And there is nothing wrong with focusing on fixing your own problems. Wayne Dyer also teaches about giving yourself away. Giving your life away. I don't see what is so selfish about that besides the fact that it helps you just as much as the person you help.

  • Divorce is not a big deal anymore. Two people get married because they are in love but then later grow apart. It is normal for people to grow and want different things. You can't guarantee that you will love one person and want to be with them forever. It's not sweeping it under the carpet, they both acknowledged it in public. It is something you grow and move on. If you can't adapt to your environment and change...thats the path you have chosen.

  • when you marry only with love in your heart then there is no way to grow apart or not love eachother anymore, this is truth, when you marry only for false reasons not for love and harmony, then divorce is just around the corner, god makes no mistakes, only people do.

    with what they think they want at that time in their life, they are not thinking with love, for true love knows no seperation, find the god in you and you will marry only for love, then you will stay married for life, this is true!

  • I find it interesting that both these guys don't seem to think divorce is really that big of a deal. Just something you sweep under the carpet and move on from.

  • NevilleNobody you make an interesting point. There's a missing quality in this kind of thing. Loyalty. You can actually learn to love the person by focusing on the positive. I've personally experienced it. In my opinion my marriage was rushed, happened in a cold building full of old TVs, and we didn't have rings. I'd only known her a short time. Over time, I've really learned to love her. I don't focus on the negative. There is something concrete that we have formed below our surface contrasts.

  • That's just how YOU perceive it. I think they do genuinely like to help people. If they make a living teaching people this stuff it's only right. Remember that you can decide to care about Robbins and Dyer just as easy as you decided to not care about them and call them name. You chose to look on the negative side. Looking on the positive would have put you in a happier mood.

  • I'm not a fan of Tony Robbins at all,

    but I think that Wayne Dyer is one of the best.

    He & Eckart Tolle are my favorite in the area of personal developement.

  • Al Gore sold all the reserve oil in california to a corporation who gave the lowest bid -- meaning he sold our oil to a private corporation that offered the least amount of money for it. That corporation was Occidental Oil where the principle amount of his families wealth was held in stock!!

  • 3 of the scientists who Al Gore wanted to "share" the Nobel with have resinded their claim to it -- No wonder, the same panel of experts the year before 2004-5 all said the main reason for Global Warming is the Sun and Evapotransporation, so yeah "FUCKING NOBEL PRIZE."
