right these uniforms are the same pattern as the tiger girl uniform with more frill and holes in the leg. I didn't see a problem with the uniform. Until people start purchasing/making their uniforms for them, they need to have a seat and enjoy the show.
@casnathani even though they have evolved somewhat, the J-sette uniform concept has not changed nearly as much as you and others would like to pretend that is has over the past 30yrs. I've seen every uniform they have up close and personal my dear and the same uniforms have been recycled over and over with changes here and there, but we all know J-settes are not about appearance, but more so the actual dance so its ok. I mean how much more Mississippi can u get than pink and blue eyeshadow LMAO
@casnathani there is no need for me to do homework when the research paper has already been graded with an A+. A damn blind man could see that the uniforms have evolved since the 70's however, no matter how much fringe or white gloves (SU DOLLS) add to the movement, there is no excuse for this uniform in particular. Yes ALL dance lines incorporate SOME fringe on their uniforms as accent pieces, but nothing as tacky as this. And my dear I have been a fashion stylist for years so I know costume.
@bamaboy4d04 When the stingettes stop remixing JSettes and dolls material THEN that maybe considered a style.
Futhermore, bama state need to stop doing that same country ass show & making a fool out of those FAT HONEY-BEES!!!!!!!!!!!! <<<< and if that ain't country.Gul Kill yourself/R.I.P
Those uniforms are NOT the business. The j-settes buck for blood however, they have some of the countriest, most tacky, backyard, Mississippi, sunflower seed spitin, Jabooka high school uniforms ever. Why don't these girls take some notes on class from the Stingettes and the Dolls as far as uniforms are concerned. I've been following the J-settes since the 80's and you would think that their uniforms would evolve over time, but they seem lost in a time warp. What college line still wears FRINGE!
@bamaboy4d04 It appears that you are the only one with a problem with the uniform. They have their own style when it comes to uni's. So why conform to someone elses style? As far as you "following" these young ladies from the 80's; maybe you would see that the attire has really "evolved". Also, the comment about "what college line still wears fringe", my answer is plenty. I am a dancer and I will tell you that it brings out the moves greatly. Next time do some serious homework before criticizing
@bamaboy4d04 i agree with u but u have to let the dolls do them and let the settes do them, its like if the dolls would get rid of their character shoes ya know, fringe is actually a jsette thing so to speak that's one of the only pieces of originality they have left to hold onto; everything else evolved from somewhere, coming from a Doll Fan and SU Alumnus.
@bamaboy4d04 First of all BamaGirl, you have the nerve to call any squad country when you are from alababma ??? The stingettes do not have any style, for the record. Their "style" is REDNECK ASS FUCK!!......The stingettes still wear those beige Dollar store stockings lololololol
