  • The US did not give the Russkis any P-47s as far as I know but we did give them lots of Bell P-39 Aircobras. Out of a total production of about 7200 the Bolsheviks got over 6000. They liked them because it had tricycle gear and could be flown while drunk and it had a 37mm cannon that fired through the propeller shaft. It was no match for the German ME-109 or the FW-190.

  • @40warhawkp the yhad P-47 the early model ones.

  • the narator tells bullshit....korea just like its successor vietnam was an imperialist project, kim il sung wanted a unified korea without war but US provoked them first..democracy and liberty? under carpet bombing of course LoL

  • @IndoAtheist North Korea invading South Korea would be good? Unite it under a communist regime. Idiot.

  • 6:44 thats so fucking dusgusting. a body flying

  • Pretty hectic bit from Wiki "The F-86 Sabre survived many initial teething problems to become the premier USAF fighter of the Korean War. By the end of hostilities, it had shot down 792 MiGs, with a loss of only 76 Sabres-a victory ratio of 10-to-1. "

  • Why do they still used flying propelled planes as opposed to new jets as it was new at that time?

  • @Hperman09 Search for "USAF_units_and_aircraft_of_the_Korean_War" in Wiki. Can't past a URL here.

  • @108Dax i already saw it but i cannot read it. Explain to me in brief details.

  • @Hperman09 Theres a lot of stuff. They basically say that this is the first war were jets were brought into combat. WW2 era prop-driven F-51D Mustangs were pressed into the ground-air support role, and large formations of B-29 Superfortresses flew for the last time on strategic bombardment missions. So I guess they had the planes that could still kill and there was no use in wasting them. The jets were more for the air superiority. The mustangs were also suited for the small korean airstrips.

  • @108Dax , It is very interesting what have you said. But in my view it could have been better to have maintained into active service the sturdily built P-47-with their powerful radial engines relatively immune to light firearms-as fighter bomber rather than p-51s which suffered losses.

  • @anisocoro I thought the same thing F-47's were still in active and reserve/ Air National Guard units, but during WWII ws sent the Soviets scores P-47's through lend lease and there had been reports of P-47's in North Korean markings so they were never used during the war,but I belive what seen were Lagg-11's which at a certain angles looks like a P-47

  • @108Dax Of course WW2-era fighters were still being used in Korea and so on. B-29s was the only heavy bombing that needs to be used but because many North Korean/Chinese newly invented jets shooting down so many of the B-29s, it was only restricted to night-time missions only.

Napalm was a very useful weapon against North Korean and Chinese forces. A lot of them surrounded because of U.S. planes flying overhead trying to make napalming on them.

  • My father flew 100 missions into North Korea during that war..He flew for th 9th FBS under the 49th FBG at the K-2...They started with the F-80C then received the F-84E.....

  • Fuck North Korea and China!!

  • my Marine Corps!!

  • they helped the south koreans by destroying north & south korea.they helped koreans in the south to stay free and put a dictator (park) in charge to keep the people unfree.amazing how people via TV can be fooled to believe that their gov. provides for the world food & freedom and uncle sam provided death and prisons and work camps.the same illusions the soviets provided for their people.what a great circus without horses and ponies though.

  • 這一輯火力威猛 , 拂曉攻撀 , 殺死共匪才天亮 !!!!!!!

  • @davidcheung2010 what ?

  • Yes, those damn commie war mongers who invaded the South.

  • @GimmyLiberty Just going to go ahead and point out we were in the country that shared their border. If China stationed armies in Mexico and we invaded out of defense, would you consider us war mongers? In Korea we were massing armies in their own country. Many in the north and south viewed the country as one unified nation divided by outside powers.

  • im just curious, is napalm still legal in warfare?

  • @aznpride0 Not forbidden against military targets.

  • @aznpride0 there is no legal or illegal things in war.

  • @hyunki0510 Therefore Hitler's policies were perfectly justified, because according to you there's no such thing as a war crime?

  • @PenileFracture War is war. People die either way. War should not be justified.

  • @hyunki0510 Maybe, but war is hardly preventable. Needless butchery is.

  • @aznpride0 depends on the country. The United States still uses it.

  • @Jbroks86 noooooo they don't.

  • @3ISAMAGICNUMBR might shock u but the United States never signed protocol III so they could napalm anyone they wish in any future conflict. Learn your history before you open your mouth.

  • f.....g war mongers
