  • My favourite comedy series - understated, underrated but brilliant nonetheless. This episode is simply wonderful.

  • Can we multiply/clone Paul x 100000000000 and send them around the world?

  • I was going to say "classic episode" but then again they're all classic episodes.

Ever Decreasing Circles was consistently brilliant and I find it a shame that it isn't remembered in the same way as other great sitcoms are.

Look at that survey the BBC did to find Britain's favourite sitcom. EDC only came 52nd, well below loads of shows that weren't a tenth as great and as funny as EDC was.

  • The scary thing is I can see a bit of me in Martin when trying to be a hero in the kitchen and everything goes awry!

  • Wish I had a mate like Paul. The way Martin says "I can't" and I got locked out my house when I was a kid and how Paul laughs - so funny this programme was - great casting and script

  • @paul12345646 Total agreement. Who would have thought they would be mates?

One of the best episodes ever...one of the best shows ever. Briers rocks !

  • @1488bill yes - Martin could not be done by anyone else - very underrated programme

  • Such a hilarious episode, so warm and real. The actors seemed genuinely unable to contain their laughter.
