Nice sleeper you got there, 10.70s @ 127 mph for such a stock looking cutlass is really cool. Could you post a link to pictures of your engine, I searched streetfire net and couldn't find any pics. Did you make a turbo log or use factory manifolds for the turbos, are you running a carb or EFI. I take it you are using Borg Warner Turbos, which ones. You should make a website on car domain dot com so you can post pics & engine specs and then everyone can make a list of what they need to buy.
@MrOldsFreak .....Hi , yes it is very funny home experience. Every things is home built, wastgate, blowoff valve bunnet and more parts is home made. The car run very nice but i have to make some others experience to do a better time (run). You can go on street fire to see some pictures, just write SUPERSLEEPER in the search....thank you....

By the way I have 1986 Cutlass 2 door Olds with a stock remenfacture 455 BBO with smog J heads, with a single Holset HX60 turbocharger using the stock cross over exhaust setup, the only upgrades to the engine is a used 7qt oil pan, used dual edelbrock intake, ROL head gaskets with stock head bolts, stock cam,and pushing only 7 pounds of boost( stock cast pistons) with a water methoanl injection system, so far I have running the best of mid 12's w/ street tires, stock TH400, posi 3.08 gears
@Alvarado442 ... Hi Alvarado, i thing you have a very funny time with your Olds 86 , it'S a very nice car, and with a 455 turbocharge .....wooww...IT's a good feeling when we push on the gas . I will try to download others pictures of my engine in few days....
By the way, this olds was put together in Canada, I try to get input from him in the other website, at streetfie.n e t, were he first downloaded the vid,,but never reply back, finding out english is not his first language . He has pictures of the buildup at the website :streetfire. n e t, which is a great website, if you are into automotive.
i have a 75 cutlass 455 that ive had for 25yrs and this has been my dream since i saw some guy dual turbo charge an 84 trans am. my question? how much work and money is in the bottomend to support the boost and how much boost can you safely run
Hey, I'm a oldsman myself. Can you send me some info on your build? I'm trying to put a 76 mm on my 455 in my 83 cutlass. There's nothing like a turbo!!
@phonky1 ...Hi Phonky, it'S very hard to install twin turbo in 1975 oldsmobile , so imagine in a 1983. You know 455 it's a large engine and you need more space to fix all tubings and others parts like bonet, waste gate , hoses and more....But it's possible...Just take your time and don't panic, itS the secret........have fun.
About the parts-=exhaust manifold (steel tubing),blow valvle,,waste gate and some other parts there home made built .....ok, see you!!!!
nice post. I grew up on olds.
