  • why did Luke call Alexis Natasha

  • Natasha is Alexis' Cassadine name. She had it legally changed to Alexis Davis around the time she went to college.

  • @Matuatay2 close. Natasha is Alexis' birth name but she isn't the one who changed it. Mikkos did after Helena killed Alexis' mother He brought her to the island after Alexis witnessed Helena slitting her mother's throat the trama of it cause Alexis to forget who she was. Mikkos and Helena, who only agreed to allow Alexis to live with them as long as she didn't know she was a Cassadine, came up with the story that she was Alexandra Davidovitch,

  • After law school Alexis changed Alexandra Davidovitch to Alexis Davis because Stefan told her no one in the US would hire an immigrant with a Russian name.

  • It's wonderful to see Robin with her baby. Finally!!

  • I like Ethan and I think he's an excellent actor....his character is supposed to have a blunt edge.

  • Ethan's lines are excrutiatingly awful and the actor's delivery is painfull to watch and hear!

  • I don't mind his lines so much, but the accent is what gets to me! I know the actor has an accent, but I've read that they're making him speak with an even deeper accent than his normal one. For the life of me I don't understand why.

  • His voice quality is jarring to the ear, and, based on the many Aussies I've met, his accent sounds strangely exaggerated to me. It's a relief to learn there's a reason for the latter.

  • Luke is a lot like Spinelli with the nicknames "who's Natasha" LOL

  • Maybe Luke is Spinelli's father too.

  • That line was better then the show!! LOL

  • Well i think its safe to say that Luke is definatly Ethan's father.

*phew* so many scenes involving this storyline today to lol

  • Did you notice the inconsistency of the story of where and why Holly was staying all in one show? Are we to believe that Holly was lying in one of those stories or just whoops in the writing? She tells Mac she didn't know Robin was back but Holly tells Robin she is staying at the Hotel because she knew that she was returning and Robin and Patrick would like to be alone.

  • I think that Holly knew Robin was coming home that week which is why she did move into the hotel, but since Robin DID come back a day earlier than she was supposed to i guess thats why Holly seemed so shocked that Robin was back already.

  • Poor exposition by dramaturge/writiers.

  • YES.. That is what I would say if I could spell it!!! LOL

    P.S. I miss you!

  • You made my day! (Late spring and summer are my busiest time of the work year. I've fallen a bit behind.)

  • I try to get these up as soon as I can but my upload is SO slow. I think I have the lowest speed DSL you can get!

  • Oh, please don't be concerned on our account, my dear! I still haven't watched your Constance Towers stuff yet. (I think it'l be late June or July before the heaviest part of my workload is over, and I have more free time!)

If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have seen those wonderful scenes between Luke and Natasha from some years ago, echoes of which reverberate into the present.

  • It would be nice if I could spell too--I've made quite a few typos commenting on this clip. (Clearly I'm outta practice!)

  • Postscript to my previous comment; It's ironic, given the characters often engage in conversational info-dumping--including in this clip--rather than permitting the story to unfold and the audience to assemble and interpret the clues....

  • I've become so lost in the Circle of Confusion that I just don't know which way is up. The terms "fact" and "continuity" must have no meaning in Guza's office. Maybe with the economy the way it is, they had to fire the monkey that used to do that.

  • You nailed it, Babe.

  • Thanks. Have hammer. Will travel. I enjoy your comments. Keep 'em coming.

  • I enjoyed your term "circle of confusion" as well as the monkey reference.

I spent the day dipping into a wide range of clips from 2009 "General Hospital," prompted by the Holly-Ethan angle. I wonder why Emma Samms accepted the devil's bargain to return for further degradation of the Holly character. She seemed lost and lackluster. Aside from that strange storyline, the writing is so consistently bad, and some of the acting so half-hearted, I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
