yes, I was addressing you lol. ..I was there recently spoke to many locals who feel left behind. Since you are familiar with Negril you must have noticed the condition the local population lives in(the non-tourist areas), the barb wire behind every hotel, how the hotels have ruined the beach(just mere feet from the shoreline), prostitution etc etc., while foriegner pretty much own all of the hotels. Oh yeah some of the hotels were kicking local people off of the beach.

I pray everyday that type of touris/economic growth never happens in CV. The sad thing is I've been to both countries and even though Jamaica has a higher GDP the actual quality of life think is better in CV. So no, I do not want what has happened in Jamaica to happen in my country. I ratther stay poor on my own than be exploited and still be poor. thanx

It doesn't mention constant wind,so much so most people go for windsurfing coz it's guaranteed.Doesn't mention constant hassle from sellers and beggars everywhere you go either.Unless you go all inclusive that is and then,well you could be anywhere
