@elweffa funny thing is this is a true story, i went on a cadet camp to a tornado base - where most of the RAF's intelligence (looking at roads and shit in Afghan for IEDs etc is) and this very chap told us this story (though more like i thought i saw rocket rails so i spoke to my officer and they decided to scramble some tonkas and i was kind of like oh shit, people are now dead cause of me!!) about a month or two before it aired first

@MrJJackYT The RAF managed to hold off the Lufwaffe untilb the bad weather of winter which halted the invasion.I fail to see how you can call us Brits surrender monkeys considering we didn't surrender completley during the war. We almost single-handedly won the war in North Africa. Who supplied and the french resistance, the british S.O.E that's who.

If we look back in history you will see that America has never ever managed to win a conflict on its own. If for example we take the wars of independence, the french supplied you trained you and gave you your officers. We signed the treaty because as most of our men were fighting in the Americas, the french, Dutch and Spanish took the opportunity to invade some our territories. Statue of Liberty no more like the "Statue of don't forget the French did for you".

Actually, the German Von Steuben was primarily responsible for training our revolutionaries, so you are wrong there. Commanding officers were mostly colonials, so you are wrong there. Our European allies finally threw in with us because of several American victories on the battlefield using traditional tactics. @MrJJackYT Remember Britain was a small Island consisting of about 5 million people and at the time controlled of 25% of the earths land mass with 700 million people (not including Britain) thus being the largest empire EVER! The empire dissolved as the Indian Mutiny increased. Again call on all soldiers to leave Britain and fight in India. The French tried seize this opportunity and invade Britain.
