Mine had black body cladding also, not gray. It was still in the natural factory finish which was a satin appearance not glossy like yours might be if it is black like the body paint. I know allot of owners would paint their body cladding to match the body paint. I choose to leave my Sy in it's natural finish. Enjoy your truck, I certainly did while I had both my Sy and Ty.
it sold for 11k. I bought it for 12.5k 5 years earlier. not a bad return for my investment and a hell of a lot of fun while I had it. Sold it only because I was tired of having to buy premium gas and paying for it.
what i think is that the Syclone is pretty much like GMC's copy of the Chevrolet S-10. pretty much the same stuff, only for a stock bodykit, and maybe a better engine. i've never actually rode in one before so idk how fast it goes.
Matter of opinion, I feel the wing was awesome and the red stripes are from a Corvette Grand Sport since I had Corvette Grand Sport wheels on the truck at one time before I sold it.
Fast Enough to beat a porsche turbo and I even took on a ferrari before selling the truck. It is ans was considered the fastest production truck ever built. stock out of the box would do 13:9 in the qtr mile at 120 mph. Zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds in the rain was lots of fun too. Sort of wish I still had it but having to feed it premium gas at todays prices was becoming a drag. The secret to this truck was the AWD combined with a turbo.
The music is a modified track from Disney's "Fantasmic" water and light show attraction at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Which I cut to fit the video length. The video was shot with my Canon XH-A1 prosumer camera and edited with Magix Movie 14
Yes it was a difficult decision to decide to sell it. But I'm out of work and needed the money. I know I will always regret it. AS far as the bang for the buck, Syclone could not be beat. My insurance labeled it as a GMC Sonoma pickup which is what it began it's life as. But in the end it is still the fastest production truck ever made. Faster even than Ford Lightning. There is not much made since that the Syclone wouldn't beat right out of the box.
