Homosexuallity is a sin the bible teaches us this. And to say its ok to be gay denies what the bible teaches. God is about life he gives life all of creation reproduces life. Homosexuallity directly opposes life. Too those who are gay God loves you but the life style is sinful.

Anything that appeals to the Flesh and makes it feel good is often wrong and harmful to the spirit. That goes for anything, not just homosexuality. And although homosexuality is seen as an abomination to God, all acts of sin are wrong so yes, even we Christians have to pray and struggle all our lives to stay near him, but he comforts us and empowers us to do so. Never think you can't change. If that were the case then many gays who say they "turned out" a straight guy would not be able to say such things. So if you feel you can "make a str8 guy go gay'" as sad as that is, then surely God can make you new and whole and place you where you are supposed to be. You too can be changed over. Wouldn't it be better to pray for guidance, explore the reasons why you would feel such a way, an then pray for God to help make the better change? The REAL God loves you unconditionally, but hates the sin you commit. That is a big difference than hating you. Now as far as yall going to hell, the Bible does say that those who continue to sin upon death, shall not inherit his Kingdom. This is true BUT if you choose to turn your life around before you leave earth, he will welcome you with open arms. Many of you try to say that God is either not real, not true, or doesn't care how you live. Well I ask you to talk to him yourself. Don't take our words for it if you don't believe us. Go straight to your creator. BUT you have to WAIT on his timing. Many of you, at least I feel, give up because you grow lazy of waiting and not indulging in your lifestyle. The desire to commit homosexual acts can be very strong but that does not mean you were born that way or have to stay that way.

God wants you to understand how blinded and bound you were so that you may never want to return when he makes you over. He teaches us in ways we may never understand but know it is only to help us. We, as Christians, are in NO position to condemn anyone because we too are living in flesh. The difference being that we choose not to be OF Fleshly nature. So if you feeled as though he is being judged, then the word of the Most High has the right to judge him, for Most high judges those he love. We need to learn to be more open for correction. I do agree that Tonex needs to be held accountable for everything he does. If not for anything else, simply because of the amount of influence that he has. But that's not just for Tonex. That goes for every single preacher who is on televiion and/or radio. Because their voices go throughout the entire world and the effects are far greater than they could see or even imagine. It's good to have faith, but the position to accept the Bible by faith almost invalidates it's veracity. A lot of Jesus testimony was based on the evidence that he would come. Jesus did a lot to point out that the "Law" is summed up in 2 commandments to love God and your neighbor; that is to honor and commit to God and to do good to others (that is, the purpose for all the other laws was hinged and consummated in these). How or why does homosexuality violate these commandments?

@motegn07 I don't think there is a conflict between faith and logic. For one, we get the word "Logic" from the Greek word "Logos". Jesus IS the Logos or the "Word" as it's translated. Besides, I think modern Christians have misconstrued or at least overemphasized faith as BELIEVING IDEAS instead of TRUSTING GOD. Matthew 8:25-26, 14:30-32, Luke 12:28-32. "Little faith" in these passages show little "trust" that God/Jesus loves you and will take care of you.

Many of you try to say that God is either not real, not true, or doesn't care how you live. Well I ask you to talk to him yourself. Don't take our words for it if you don't believe us. Go straight to your creator. BUT you have to WAIT on his timing. Many of you, at least I feel, give up because you grow lazy of waiting and not indulging in your lifestyle. You are right, but "Saved folks not just Church folks", because Now of Days you can't even tell which one is which, but Holiness without which no man can see the Lord.. Holiness is still required to make it to heaven... Saved folks listen to, rebuke it, pray for it and keep going... If a person want help from thier sin, they would get help no matter what.. We do not justify sin and foolishness..

My thoughts on homosexuality are this, the bible says it wrongs, but let people live their lives as they choose and let God deal with their imperfections, because we all have them!

I do agree that Tonex needs to be held accountable for everything he does. If not for anything else, simply because of the amount of influence that he has. But that's not just for Tonex. That goes for every single preacher who is on televiion and/or radio. Because their voices go throughout the entire world and the effects are far greater than they could see or even imagine. The bible says that shepherds will have a much greater judgment. That doesn't just apply to Tonex.

I don't even think I can be as couragious as he is. ...The bible says that a LIAR won't tarry in G-d's presence. So G-d won't even waist His time on a liar. But we have no problem celebrating an IMAGE that is placed before us, at face value--not challenging it with questions. But when someone decides to be completely truthfull with himself and not lie to G-d's people, then we crucify him. Hmmmm, makes me wonder about this thing called "Christ-ianity".

I have never been into Tonex. But I have so much more respect for him, now that he has come OUT. People can hate on him all day long, but at least he is being real. If he was lying, people would be perfectly fine with him, and swear he was annointed. But at least he admits that he isn't perfect and doesn't know everything. To me that is BRAVE. Every month we hear about another big time minister caught with his pants down. Tonex was the only preacher with the integrity to stand up and be honest!

The problem with all of this is that everyone who SWEARS that they're Christians are throwing the largest stones. The Qu'ran & the Bible speak out against Homosexuality. But who are we to judge? The Creator sees this and it is Him who Tonex has to stand before.

I say go ahead and try!!! Trust me on this, you will see that God does not play with homosexuall issues. I personally dont believed that salvation is based on what you do or dont do. Ok, you know how mom said dont touch the stove cuz its hot? You have to touch to learn (adam eve). And it is hot, very hot. I only know through my own experiences that God showed me; "ok go ahead, we're going to see." He already knows anyway, but to try and compromise God's Word to lead others?

It's good to have faith, but the position to accept the Bible by faith almost invalidates it's veracity. A lot of Jesus testimony was based on the evidence that he would come. Additionally it's almost pointless then to say Christianity is true when others accept different religions "by faith". Islam is all about holiness and doing what God says. And God is so holy that no man will ever see Him! Judges men by what they do, if this is what Christians believe, it's not different then Islam...

I'm legitimately curious to know WHY people believe homosexuality is a sin. Other than "the bible says so". Jesus did a lot to point out that the "Law" is summed up in 2 commandments to love God and your neighbor; that is to honor and commit to God and to do good to others (that is, the purpose for all the other laws was hinged and consummated in these). How or why does homosexuality violate these commandments?

You just told me "because the bible says so". To clarify, I understand the WHAT, but not the WHY. For instance, WHY you don't kill another person is that God finds value in human life Gen 9:6. That is the WHY. Other "WHYs" I have been told are extra-biblical but I still find them valid.

@tmntsuperhiros Also, on a side note, Sodom and Gomorrah were not destroyed because of homosexuality Ezekiel 16:48-50. They were proud and unwilling to help the poor and the needy (the outcasts), much like the Pharisees in Jesus day Luke 18:10-14

I am more than willing to accept the consequences, but I will not be driven in my decisions by fear. God is Love and perfect love drives out all fear 1 John 4:8, 18. @motegn07 for instance, stealing is wrong because you are taking away from another person something they have earned or were given; you take away their livelihood. You also invalidate the good things God has given YOU...But more pointedly I think that the scriptures progressed. I cited Gen 9:6 that says to kill a person who kills, but Jesus nullifies this command that is directly from God Matt 5:38-46, John 8:7. Is it not possible for us to progress in understanding even today?

@motegn07 I don't think there is a conflict between faith and logic. For one, we get the word "Logic" from the Greek word "Logos". Jesus IS the Logos or the "Word" as it's translated. Besides, I think modern Christians have misconstrued or at least overemphasized faith as BELIEVING IDEAS instead of TRUSTING GOD. Matthew 8:25-26, 14:30-32, Luke 12:28-32. "Little faith" in these passages show little "trust" that God/Jesus loves you and will take care of you.
