  • these matches are the best I've seen here in youtube!

  • god damn he's smooth

  • iv been doing this for 3 months its addictive

  • im not sure how 10th planets standards are but at the gym i go to the red dude would be a purple belt for sure. i think you guys should be a bit more generous with promotions. BTW: the gym i go to is a nova uniao affiliate, so its not like they give out belts for nothing there.

  • How long has that flyin' tomato been training?

  • Who's the guy i always see doing videos in a red gi? I thought i saw him in one video with a brown belt and in another with a blue belt. Maybe my eyes need checked. What is his belt level and where does he teach? I live near the Burbank 10th planet. I heard 10th planet in Burbank is real informal without much instruction, but rather just roll time. I guess i'll have to check them out myself. 6 more months and my Gracie contract is up. I'll probable join 10th for a while at that point.

  • from this vid, these kids are really good. keep it up.

  • Nice omoplata.

  • @sittingbull09 Several lol he had a bunch of omaplata attemts and he sunk most of them. There was only one that i remeber that he didnt get.

  • @sittingbull09 Several lol he had a bunch of omaplata attempts and he sunk most of them. There was only one that i remeber that he didnt get.

  • It is very easy to notice the 10th planetJJ style with these two.. JM looks very impressive good work

  • 0:30 - 0:45 was beautiful transitions

lots of momentum for those 2

  • That was awesome! You guys gave me some good ideas. Thanks for posting the vid

  • how long do you guys stretch for in a day to get that flexible?? haha

  • @AnthonyBitonti Some people dont have to stretch ha there is one guy where i train and he never stretches and he can do rubber gaurd and omaplatas easy, some people are just limber like that :)

  • @ThaneCrosoft i don't like that guy then lol :)

  • @ i am too its like double jointed hips

  • he got so cocky he tried gogoplata from mount lol (aokiplata) :)

  • JM is a huge nogi talent and even though I dont like the 10th planet system they are pumping out some good guys, but i noticed JM only tried 1 escape to the omoplata? you guys should show him the sit out escape. great video i wish i had a brother to roll with (im 16), i train under carlson gracie team in illinois and iowa. nice vid once again.

  • Great rolling. I enjoy it. Nice technique, I like use of some rubber stuff. I'd like to see more rolling like this.

  • Beautiful continuous fastpaced rolling very impressed

  • great song love metallica, i love when at 5:07 he just looks at him and goes "fuck it" and gives up on moving the arm and just shoves his forearm into his neck. yh that works too :)

  • I have a lot of respect for 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu. Why do people have to compare it too traditional? If you have both skill sets I'm sure you'll be elite. I only wish there was a school closer to me. But I'm good with my gym too on the other hand. Train hard! Train fun!

  • 2:25 now that's an omo...

  • good scrap guys

  • The sweep into guillotine at around the 430 mark was awesome. I’ve never seen anyone control both arms from guard quite like that before.

  • Comment removed

  • both great practitioners

  • The transitions and fluidity of these movements are exceptional. Both individiuals have a knack for this stuff!! Keep up the good work

  • What a gene pool!!!!!

  • those were some sweet and quick transitions.

  • jesus... one of these kids were a blue belt? the one in the black was turning away and giving his back from side control for Christ sake. that is one of the first things u learn not to do...

  • @carlsongracieteam The reason he is turning away is because the other guy had him in twister side control... had he turned into him while the other guy had the twister side control it would have been a quick and painful sub...

  • @75ehwtcv not really its easy to defend.. none of these guys looked like a blue belt it looked like a wrestlers scramble the whole match.

  • @carlsongracieteam i beg to differ.... I say JM competing while i was at my first ever tournament this year... Amazing doesnt even describe how good this guy is....

  • Nice rollin'! I've never been to Canada, but I'd love the chance to come up there and train with the 10th Planet team. Between these two and Ari, there are some scrappy looking albino dudes.

  • Cool fight

  • omo plata to triangle attemp was noice!

  • lol cant tell whos who at 1:56. great song selection btw

  • Outstanding!!! Wizards of Motion.

    5 Stars all the way!

    Scott Marker

    The Ref...mma

    -since 1996

  • I have a question. its not clear: matt is the younger brother in blue shirt?

  • @joszif nope, the guy in the blue top (bright hair) is jm(the brother with the blue belt), i think lol

  • I wish me & my little brother had jiu jitsu growing up. The UFC started in our house back in 86

  • Excellent work boys......i enjoyed watching this...I should represent the Gingers in Canada, sask canada to be percise...

  • wow, the kid in the blue shirt has some real talent for his age. looks like it's already instinctive for him. I hope to see him in UFC one day

  • yeah it's red's flexibility that gets him those wins.

  • BRAVO BOYS BRAVO! JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU DO NOT FUCK WITH A GINGER!!!!!! but for real those boys are a little thing i like to call NOT TO BE FUCKED WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lips3666 yeah, not bad for having no souls =p

  • older brother got his ass whooped a few times.... haha

  • Wow I wish I could grapple a kid my age all the guys in my club are 20 and 30 ...

  • @Fupper16

How old are you then ?

  • This guy's probably better than most 20 - 30 year olds though, so you'd still have your hands full.

  • In the long run its gonna make you a better fighter!!! Your lucky in an unlucky way. lol

  • same here dude. i lose most of the time but i can hold my own most of the time. its a good challenge though :)

  • this guys are seriously mismatched! the poor dude got killed by his bro repeatedly and now its on the net! sweet transitions and nice flow swingin into new york!

  • sick guillotine at 4:19

  • 3:03 - missed an easy twister (went for a knee-bar).

    Excellent work, energy, technique everything!

    Thanks for posting.

  • Ha, you finally got him in the end :p nice mounted triangle.

  • wow that was sick!!!

  • Sweet vid dudes... ive been reading and studying Eddies books and dvd's and plan on putting all that knowledge into effect very soon into my rolling sessions.. would love for a 10th planet school to pop up in Toronto again.. One gym that did teach it briefly no longer does and thats a shame .

5/5 vid and sweet technique RED.

  • Brothers will always put on the best fight, lol.

  • Awesome grappling man, thanks to submissions 101

  • Brilliant

  • Great fight! You can see a lot of advanced techniques in action :D

  • My god that kid in blue was flexible, fucking Dalsim of 10th planet.

  • is it possible to apply the triangle at 5:00 please reply thank you ,and that was a good match.

  • he would have to get black's left arm to the other side of his body to pull a triangle. by black hooking his arm around blue like that, it created a frame and blue would just burn himself out if he tried to squeeze from there

  • alright thanks

  • ur an idiot, that is a triangle! it's just a variation when they defend by wrapping the arm around the opponents body, and clasp their hands. only works from the top tho

  • a mounted trinagle? of course you can. i've done it before.

  • I'm sure that this battle will continue at home later on...

  • 0:32 was sick

  • wow...the only thing you spelled correctly was the word 'nuts' in that sentence. Junior, Fuccn is spelled 'fucking'; fagts isn't a word but I assume it was supposed to be 'faggots'; succ is correctly spelled 'suck' and eachtohers is "each others" (two words). Please do better next time. You will be graded.

  • @tonganCRIPgangsta ha ha an illiterate gangster......is there any other kind?...

  • Epic...

  • I used this. It works great for me. 10th planet has helped me survive in the mma world. Big Nog says not to train in the gi if you are fighting. Just trust me don't hate on this stuff and throw it out the window. 10th planet has helped me tap 230lb guys and I'm 155.

  • dude that omaplata was SICK

  • that was great. i've been studying the 10th planet system online for the last couple years or so and I try to use it on my cousin every chance i get. I have a really hard time getting from the zombie to new york because he stacks me. He's a wrestler and he's much stronger than me. Any advice?

  • anytime they stack you from rubber guard you can do a sweep as long as you have their hand on the mat, the video is somewhere in there.

  • lol just go train at a real gym.

  • Yeah. That's excellent advice. The problem is I live in a tiny town and there isn't any such thing here. All they have is Aikido, haha.

  • Crachead control or invisiblecollar.

  • Couldn't stop smiling! Great stuff! (Still smiling!!) We love this stuff at FFC! Well done.

  • wow you guys are great!

i wold never want to get into a fight with you guys :P

by the way this is bridgitte !

  • i need to train at your gyms

  • sick shit, good omoplatas, keep up the videos guys

  • thats fucking cool

  • i suppose if it works for you then do it, i am quite flexible but i still prefer the "Helio" style slow and paced i do use some of Bravo's techniques but i believe our blackbelt teachers Ricardo and leo vieira have more to teach and are more skilled then 10th planet guys that my opinion, i would to hear submission101's thoughts reply back. XD

  • I wish there was a 10th Planet school here in Illinois. Think a lot can be taken from both schools. The Gi and NoGi shit is getting bogus. It's a pissing match fueled by students who just want to shoot off their mouths. It's bad all around. Thats just my opinion. After wrestling for about 12 years it's been hard to break the fast pace habit when I started taking BJJ with a Gi. Still have trouble at times. I like NoGi but if ya get good with a Gi and can think your going to be able to adapt.

  • As we say in 10th Planet, do what makes you happy.

  • ya I know where ur coming from... I wrestled for 3 years in high school and actually beat a 3 time state champ... but when i got to BJJ it was a whole different world,lmao... Like when i 1st started i could take the guys to the ground effortlessly but when i did get em to the ground they had an answer and/or submission for everything I had after it hit the ground... U have any tips for someone making a transition from wrestling to BJJ ? like what techniques to keep and scrap

  • If your training GI then stick to chokes as there quite easy too use for example x choke and ezekial and most people dont expect a very basic choke to be applied. transitions base and movement are the most important things in bjj, guard passes, are vital as is retriving the guard GI is the way to train all the best palyers do , leo and ricardo vieira, jacare, pan de pano, gracies, garcia to name a few trai GI u wont regret it i promise.

  • ONLY train GI if u want to be GOOD in GI. train NOGI if u want to be good in NOGI. sure gi will help with ur nogi game cause its all grappling, but nogi will help ur nogi game better than using the gi. the gi is a grip and tug game, the nogi is a clinch and squeeze game. Gi will however help with ur nogi as it will make u more concious of being choked as in gi there are nogi chokes and gi chokes.

  • this is a kick ass video. makes me miss rolling with my brother =(

  • AWESOME!

  • nice

  • Lil Red is slick!!!!!

  • there very good but i dnt lyk the 10 th planet system its too fast paced and relies on flexibility too much i prefer the slow and traditional bjj style personally i think and resoanblly fit 2nd degree bl ue blt would would on thm

  • huh?

are you missing keys on your keyboard or something?

  • This depends on who you ask I guess. It seems to work great for them and isn't that the point. If BJJ style works for you, that is all that matters. If these kids had the flexibility and speed for 10th planet, more power to them. Do what makes YOU a better fighter. 10thP or BJJ...its all wonderful stuff!

  • i do mostly gracie under pedro sauer they dont incorporate alot of the rubber guard gogoplata and jew clawmostly because its gi bjj but even when i do mmathey feel its not that great and these are full contact fighters im learning from so your right its really all about what works for you as an individual but i can see this really benefiting me and, if you do bjj your somewhat flexible and im sure flexibility can be trained I WANT TO TRY IT come to Washington!!!

  • dude, 'jiu claw' not 'jew claw'

  • @SuperEzekial19 I study at Gracie Barra myself, but I can say that 10th Planet system is mostly about controlling your opponent. These two are just rolling the way they roll. The rubber gaurd itself I think was invented and used more for its control. I could be wrong, but thats how I see it.

  • @SuperEzekial19 the traditional way was all Gi not no gi

  • @SuperEzekial19 The slow paced stuff seems like it could be more robust & safter; i.e. with too many chaotic scrambles, there is less control and either grappler could get caught with a submission.

On the other hand, the fast paced stuff, once mastered, seems like it would be much harder to defend against.

Ultimately, competition fight stats have to judge the winner of this debate. What is the outcome/ which style has a higher percentage of wins - does anyone know?

  • They're both sick! Awesome vid

  • Nice scrambling and transitioning.

  • awesome! good matches!

  • damn...i want in on that match lol...duno who's who in that vid but wicked omo's and was that an insane start when that one guy rolled into his brother as they started haha is that a way to like psych the other person out? never seen that done before

  • nice sweeps and omaplatas

  • U guys r spectacular.. Im gonna write a book on u

    !!!!!! Dang

  • sick bjj boys! nice transitions and suppppper sick omos!

  • they are lucky to have this bjj instructors.....

  • 6,000th view ^_^

  • gottta love brotherly love....

  • cool, nice job

  • wauw

  • very impressive :o

  • Wow what a difference a year makes. Great scrambling guys.

  • Holy Crap, that kid is only a blue belt??? He looks like he'd maul purple and maybe some brown belts in traditonal bjj

  • god damn... just transition after transition... absolutely amazing

  • god dam rubber legs! skills

  • NICE JOB!

The only problem I have with tenth planet jj is the flexibility required. Much harder to do once you get to be 60, 70, 80... I like old man jj

  • very impressive guys. wonder how long they have been studying. i have been studying for ~4yrs - their transitions are much better than mine.

  • very bright future for both of them

  • that was some prtty good rolling

  • I hope that rubber guard becomes standard for grappling and mma.

  • haha this is awesome some awesome subs there!

  • damn, they both have good skills but I think that the one with gray trunks is kinda better. He was more agressiv submitted him a lot of times.

  • would NOT want to mess with these gingers

  • Great stuff by both of them!

  • wow..awesome

  • These guys are going to be bad arse one day. What better than to have a brother to train with! Nice rolling guys!

  • whats the song?

  • Wherever i may roam by Metallica.

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome! These guys have potential!

  • what a system!!!

  • Red headed power!! haha.

Whenever he had the omoplata in the beginning, tell him to grab the ankle instead of the back. This gives you at least a slow down on the roll, and if your opponent is slow you can work a toe hold at the same time.

  • everything after 4:45 was great

    good plan, perfect performance

    keep it up guys!

  • great song!

  • 4:10 was hilarious!

I have done BJJ for only a month and I bet they would both spin me around their finger like I was nothing. :P I'm still trying to get my brother into BJJ so I would have a training partner.

  • it takes a while man lol

  • The one in the black t-shirt is still a beginner and its obvious that if a bluebelt roles with a whitebelt it will look like that. Im not hating they r good but not great, I want to see the bluebelt dude have a friendly sparring with a bluebelt or higher...

  • Dude you have no idea what you re talking about!

  • They're really good. Infact they're great!

  • awesome rubber guard and chain of movement one submission after another mad skills.

  • mean

  • I want to spar with Big Red now! I think we'd have a good one!

  • how old r these kids

  • I wish my brother would practice with me :\

  • lmao gotta love that crackhead control

  • both are good but the one in the blue shirt has got some mad skills, far beyond his brother

  • very impressive!

  • Yo there awesome man.Way back then before,i used to take BJJ and Muay Thai. Damn near broke my classmates arm lol.

  • i wrestle my brother like that

  • i just started jiu jitsu 2 months ago but havent anything like this i hope i get as good as them

  • Beautuiful subs.

  • yea there real good

i wish i had a bro around my age to practice No Gi on

  • Thus Red kid is just too good, every vid you guys put him in he just looks awesome

  • WOW these dudes are really good. cant wait to see them on the UFC.

  • don't get too excited.... UFC is far away for them lawl. It's a bit harder to get things like this when the opponent has the option to punch.

  • Very good technique from the blue guy, but someone needs to tell his bro that the headlock from hell is the worst thing to when someone passes your guard to side control

  • these kids are crazy awesome.

  • Very nice, some really good techniques here, I got to get into Jiu Jitsu.

  • Damn Matt's good, not to take anything away from JM.

  • JM's the good one. Matt sucks.

  • Awesome matches, awesome music.

  • that was amazing grappling & transitions. 10th planet must be very proud!

  • nice. 5 stars

  • That was impressive, those transitions were intense.

These guys are the future of the 10th pjj...

  • awesome rolling guys. love it. they seem really good

  • awsome transitions boys
