She is the best dancer I've seen live. Great stamina, precision and excellency in technic as well as in Abhinaya. I cried when she danced her item in August 2006 in Chennai - it was so expressive and sad. She is just amazing.

She did this in Towson Maryland too. I was exhausted watching her! She has amazing stamina. Her stances and her execution are flawless. She is the paragon of perfect Nritta. And you can talk all day about her Abhinaya. She moved everyone to tears with her Abhinaya about the mother who after losing her little boy in war, swears to dismember herself if the wound is on the boy's back and not chest (meaning he ran away). And the Javali- omigod! When will she return!
