  • Great analogy, in the USA Cable users pay more than that for bandwidths throttled to less than 100Kb/30Kb even though we are promised 20MB/4MB or more. Ultimately the only cap should be your internet plan, only bi-directional synchronous (same bandwidth upstream as downstream) Fiber To The Home (FTTH) allows for this. In the US, less than 26 communities can claim truthfully that they offer that. Here is a US map ( is dot gd slash HCi80q ) and you know what goes before it.
