@moneyakd : you have to listen to the song with your heart and depending of your knowledge of the yoruba language, culture and experience in life, you'll get. Try it. Good luck!!!
highly inclusive, obey's music is still in the markrt of today. @yossy4us yes, very educative, knowlegeable and what more. Due Respect you sir. (3) Gbosaa 4 Obey
i am not a yoruba and do not understand it either yet i place ebenezer on top with all his music tract i heard, sunny ade do not score 1% but baba obe scored 1001%.
@okwusrexzo : Both musicians are very good. They are just unique in their styles of music. With Chief Obey, its always prohetic because his words are very deep because he uses alot of proverbs like most elders do in Nigeria (yorubas or ibos) and draws from the bible too. The music is pleasant to the ears and very classic. With King Sunny Ade, if you want to rock and let loose, you will enjoy him as well. I have listen to both growing up in Nigeria 24 years ago.
@amobisegun u are absolutely right that listening attentively will allow u to appreciate each special talent. Can we compare micheal jackson to prince oh no we cant compare them. I love both of them. Just listen to the guitar and the melody. Labe igi orombo nibe lati sere wa inu wa dun ara wa. Oluwa emi sati gbohun I am missing my dad right now. Enjoy these oldies loll.... Thanx
Obey sings with sense not just for faji but for teachings especially for life teachings and applications. Most if not all of his songs are very sensible and educative.
@princessadekunbi1 - The word is not omo ibi yu, it's tiwa n tiwa Omoyini o. Omoyini is the name of a barrister in Lagos, Nigeria. If you listen very well the next line says 'Barrister lawyer nle Omoyini mi
No musician can beat Obey in terms of sensible, educative and knowledgable songs and sermons. De cross for ever. its ever green, useful for all generations. God bless baba Fabiyi for his contributions to music

Good music !
Its a big error to be comparing the duo of Ebenezer Obey n Sunny Ade,they are not into the same kind of Juju Music !
Just take your time to listen to them attentively.
They are both king in their line, and thats reason both kingship could not affect each other till today.
They are both king in their kind of Juju music.
