From what I've seen, a little work with the moves and spells needs to be done for a perfect feel. Having a Zeus' Fury clone isn't a great idea unless a few fixes are added to it..like being able to move while throwing <_<
I noticed Efreet can destroy Magic Shields *this is good* and has a special kill effect *no known EXP bonus*. I hope the 'bolts' have a 'Charge' version that can shatter shields while dealing big damage..I think the bolts should auto-break statues to give it a perk
So far I've seen just 1 OH animation and it has me worried as this one can't be used to net even a GoW1 class collision. Alternate OH isn't likely. With the odds being we get just 1 sub, it is quite possible we won't have High Jumps this time around >_> (I've obviously already tried for the GoW1 version)
There is a lot I've liked but I'm basically just addressing concerns. I love the part where Kratos pushes a cart with fire through murderous darkness fog to pass safely.
Just wish you could steer it a little so exploration was an option..instead of a safe path with the fire..you could go off-course and look for Chests, secrets, etc. For going off the beaten path, perhaps Darkness beast could spawn at your location as punishment/reward..I'd love that. This set-up is just like when we push the ram in Attica to break down a gate..just wish that part wasn't so canned. *still cool*
Against Basilisk 2, we apparently just hit the beast to force it back. About 1/2 way, it does a canned grab on us which we have to reverse then keeping attack until pushed to the walls where it climbs up with "O". We pull it down then bring a building down on its head. We force it back again then do while it tries to breath fire, we force its jaw shut to explode the head. Great stuff. Just wish Efreet wasn't fucking useless here. There is no other option but quick hits..

I would have been suggesting up a storm. The new Satyrs aren't very impressive..they aren't Satyr class and they aren't as tough as Beast Lorbs by the looks of things. The ones that throw napalm are like cooler Hades Fiends though.
I really like these new Darkness Gorgons..basically like a Gorgon that doesn't use Gaze but has a Siren Widow shriek *fast*. This 'Darkness Tiger' is pretty cool but appears to lack moves. *grab, swipe and breath* Glad to see a Minotaur in the game now *though not in action*..It doesn't feel right without those beasts around. The way the new Cyclops types attack is new but not very effective..that don't appear to have a charge so they won't be a threat. Harpy bombing is needed.
There is still SO much to know though. I hope for the best but fear it won't feel 'as good as it could have been' *for the PSP*.
When I see a bunch of "Grunt" (Persians) class foes SPREAD across a long stretch (basically 1 every 10 steps) without a group.. I worry about pacing. They haven't shown any ELITE persians..like an "Immortal" or one of their Horse riding 'Cavalry' which they so loved. They should also have a few Barbarians on their side..you get the idea. I care.
You know so much about the game already. Where did you find all of this out? The majority of it is news to me.
OH concerned me from the demo. There didn't appear to be any collision damage dealt. It was difficult to test though because on easy perhaps the collision damage was just very low. That's what I'm hoping anyway.
I really hope there aren't spells where you can't move while casting it (besides efreet). Lets not go back to GoW1 style ZF and MG...
There's some speculation about a PS2 version of the game at some point. I would expect a PSN downloadable version before that (so they could force us into having either the psp or ps3 to play it).
I would like to play it on my tv even though I'll have it for the psp. I'm not buying another psp just for the video out so I hope they bring it to a console.

Because it's rediculously weak. So weak that I didn't really care so long as I wasn't throw off balance while dealing with the Beast Lords.
Under even GK:TM:NUR settings it only appeared to have done 10-15 damage whereas I could afford 25 easy with that HP chest right there. If I needed to, I could backtrack for another (50HP regained).
This also applies to the Nymph bolts. They aren't strong but when you get hit in groups or the blast causes you to get caught on the spikes...you will fail to lose less then 50HP in an instant (the spikes take about 1/3 HP)

Quite right. It can be harder if you don't have magic and HUGE collisions. I understand that the two harpies that float around before the battle are involved in the fight but do not respawn. If either is killed beforehand, they will never show up. Then there are the 2 spawning Harpies that don't stop reappearing unless all the Legionnaires are dead. Just another element of the fight to understand.

I just never noticed the tits. They aren't as glaringly obvious as the Gorgons/Sirens/Siren Widows/Sisters of fate (rephrase- every female is TOPLEZZ or busty)
I needed the magicless strategy because I'm saved in my NUR+ right before it with no magic.
That changes things quite a bit for you as you can't rely on either AQ *NP*, magic OR 100 damage collisions (50 if knockbacks). You are in quite the situation indeed. I haven't played a NUR+ in a long time.
So what I'd do in the GK:TM:NUR wouldn't be as easily pulled off without the 100 damage. I'd need to review the fight under your condtions so I can only advise reviewing Shinobier's vids about this part.
If you are entirely unable to get this help. Say so in a reply here and I'll drop whatever I'm doing and start up a Titan:NUR+ and catch up to that spot to assist you.
I've tried Shinobier's tactics- but I'm no Shinobier. It's not a big deal- I actually passed it once and played up to the Translator. I couldn't beat the translator and hadn't saved since..so I phail'd.
I'd rather see this series finished before a NUR+ series. Thanks though.

I had entered the area which locks you in the translator area. You hadn't discovered the high jump yet, and I couldn't save, so I turned it off.
I lucked into raeping the legionaries with the hammer and ripping the harpies in half. I can't do the harpy as a projectile, cause I suck/it doesn't work for me.

The High Jump couldn't save you then...or could it..I dont' think it would let you go back to the lever, use the steam and go back over if you went to the save..not sure..I'll have to test that for future reference. I know that it screws with the Translator things so I think it would lock you out if you did that.
You need practice with using Harpies and understanding their faggotry then. AotF is 4U
It appears that pre-Wave 3 you can leave, save and return *requires 5-7 leaps with Infinite Jump with a backwards path around the door seen in your vid*. I suppose that helps in NP..especially if you are perfect with the jump as you can leave the Translator at just before Wave 3. But once it starts, you cannot leave to save..nothing you do will allow you to take the key that allows for the area after the Ram door to load.
The intial ones are set to go for their summon right away. The others do it if left alone too long. I interupt the first two then bait the others towards the bridge.
I like ending the final Beast Lord with an Orion's Harpoon into the abyss just to add emphasis that it is all over for that bitch when I get to her...SHE GONNA GET RAPED

Been working on GoW1 damage values *finished 'draft 1'*, so no. I've also been doing a little more Artemis and Zeus' Fury testing.
I know for certain that the strat I'd been using for Wave 3 will due. I want to try for at least one other concerning the SoD.

That changes things quite a bit for you as you can't rely on either AQ *NP*, magic OR 100 damage collisions (50 if knockbacks). You are in quite the situation indeed. I haven't played a NUR+ in a long time.
So what I'd do in the GK:TM:NUR wouldn't be as easily pulled off without the 100 damage. I'd need to review the fight under your condtions so I can only advise reviewing Shinobier's vids about this part.

Once wave 3 starts, there isn't any save point, it's not loaded a short while after the health chest outside the key-door.
