  • God Bless you brother, Your story touched my heart vary much, Thank you.

  • Thank you for your profound and heartfelt realizations, particularly your witness of the 3rd Joyful Mystery. "Mary constantly sets before the faithful the “mysteries” of her Son, with the desire that the contemplation of those mysteries will release all their saving power. In the recitation of the Rosary, the Christian community enters into contact with the memories and the contemplative gaze of Mary." - ROSARIUM VIRGINIS MARIAE , H.H. John Paul II

  • Welcome home! May the lamb of God keep your soul safe for all eternity :) Thank you so much for sharing!

  • @LiberalBuster Actually I believe it's the protestant churches that run off of emotion... You know with the weekly altar call where you emotionally ejaculate in front of everyone getting "saved".

  • The Rosary, the nuclear war-head of Catholic Contemplation.

For anyone who does not accept devotion to the Blessed Virgin, firstly, understand Sacred Scripture, than introduce yourself to the Church Fathers, Church history did not begin in the reformation, see what the first generations of Christians said about this devotion? who are you to know better then they?

There is only One Church, Holy, Catholic & Apostolic. it will remain until the end, no matter what the heretics say or do.

  • What a humble and touching testimony, thank you for sharing!

  • You know living is about unity, he seems to have found it, Gods speed. It's too bad his past church might have failed him.

  • Luke 1:48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth ALL generations shall call me blessed.

The saints and Mary pray for us to God.I think its good idea that we prayer for each other.Don't you think its a good idea to pray for your friends? If not,why not?

  • @LiberalBuster Wow, you obviously can NOT read. I said her INTERCESSION helped save me from this sin! Christ alone is what ultimately saves us, but the Saints and Mary can intercede on our behalf to Almighty God.

Mary is NOT divine, nor has she EVER been. The Catholic Church NEVER teaches that she is! But Christians have been praying to Our Blessed Mother for almost 2000 years now, long before your heretical sect ever EXISTED.

May Jesus pardon your arrogance and save you from Lies.

  • @LiberalBuster The intercession of our Blessed Mother has saved me countless times from grave sin. Mary and the saints are NOT divine, but they can intercede for us on our behalf when we pray to them.

Your heart is hard with the sin of arrogance. You are a heretic following a so-called "reformed" faith, but it is a mere infant compared to the 2000 years of our Holy Catholic Church, which has the authority from Christ to interpret Scripture without error.

May our Lord Jesus rescue you.

  • @LiberalBuster Everything Mary does for us or any good we do is because of a gift from God. So all glory goes to God. Of course.

  • I still believe Christ will direct you in the right path +++ God bless!

  • welcome to the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church faithful to our Lord Jesus Christs teachings for 200 years by the grace of God.

  • I dont get how people can say that Mary isnt holy...if she wasnt holy then Jesus wouldnt be holy either because he would recieve original sin...am I right or not ?

  • Thinking of Mary in the Gospel of John ch2 at the wedding at Cana. Her most sublime act of Faith and Her greatest message ( according to me ) was when Jesus said to Her 'what does this ( lack of wine) have to do with me woman?..."and she turns and tells (us) the servants" Do whatever He tells you to do" They do as He orders and the wedding becomes an even better celebration as will our lives if we follow Her Orders to do whatever He tells us to do.

  • @caycug1 remain steong and catholic did Jesus not make his first miracle at his mothers request? the saints are alive in heaven and we have proof of they pray for us in revelations look it up. remain strong for you are in christs church

  • Wonderful stuff. All those who love Jesus deserve a loving relationship with His mother.

  • when mary pray for us jesus will answer the pray because jesus love his mother

    :)

  • @newtochrist He loves you too, he died for you, remember?

  • ne time when Jesus was speaking, a woman in the crowd proclaimed, “Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed” (Luke 11:27). There was never a better opportunity for Jesus to declare that Mary was indeed worthy of praise and adoration. What was Jesus’ response? “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it” (Luke 11:28). To Jesus, obedience to God’s Word was more important than being the woman who gave birth to the Savior.

  • you put mary up there with jesus and god that is a sin all praise be to god jesus was put in this world because people were idolizing fake gods and thats what you are doing you are putting mary above god by saying she is the mother of god jesus is the son of god not mary only in flesh is he the son of mary because god wanted jesus to be born a man yall pray to mary! HE does not need a middle man! all prayers all worship an glory be to god! everyone else is beneath him mary is dead awaiting jesus

  • @JOAOBUNITAO Mary's flesh is dead, but she is alive and with the Lord. When a believer dies, he/she goes to be with the Lord : "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:8)

"And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:42-43)

  • @JOAOBUNITAO I don't know about asking deceased saints for interecession. I don't see any examples or exhortations of that in the N.T. But I do see that Jesus is our High Priest, so I think we should be able to go directly to Him. Or we can ask our living brothers and sisters to pray for us. Asking deceased saints for intercession seems "experimental". Jesus is the One to go to for help.

  • @caycug1 "Deceased saints" are in heaven. They are the Christians brothers and sisters who are already living with God (Father, Son and the Holy Spirit) by the grace of God and their cooperation with God. By their baptism, they are one with us who have the same baptism with them (In the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit). Since they are our brothers and sisters living with God what is wrong with asking them for prayer to God whom they see face to face. It is Biblical, deutrocanonical

  • @AKEAMAI My grandparents were Christians and they died. So are you saying that I can talk to them and ask them to pray for me to God? Where are the precedents for this in scripture?

God was not speaking to Saul, and Saul needed some help, so Saul disobediently communicated with dead Samuel (1 Samuel 28). Consulting with the dead is an abomination unto the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12)

  • John 3:7 You Must Be Born Again originalwriting.ie Use this book to share the gospel to unbelievers. Contains prophecy related topics concerning Israel and Christ. This book also speaks about spirit mediums, the false teaching of purgatory and discusses scientific facts discovered in the bible long before modern science. This book, God willing, will help you win souls.

  • "All generations will call her blessed" - Did you know they said that about many people in the Bible. I don't see us worshiping them. Secondly, 'call her blessed' does NOT mean to elevate her to the status of God.

Romans 3:9-19 makes it unarguably clear that it is impossible to choose God in the midst of all of our sin. It says "there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God." Rom 3:11. That INCLUDES mary.

    Cheers

  • @Majerkellous Mary is elevated as divinity she is the chosen one to give birth to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ the son of God. Catholics do not elevated anybody to be a god. There is only one God.

  • @philip2260-When we went back to Catholicism, our family have not ceased talking about it excitingly! Dig deeper and educate yourself about Catholicism. Watch Catholic convert Jeff Cavin's Revelation and learn about the true meaning of Catholic Mass. We have a Bible Group study (a Catholic Ministry equivalent to any Protestant Church' "worship"), wherein we study what we need to learn (not investigate/argue). But the Catholic Mass is solely about Eucharistic Celebration, Prayers and Worship!

  • @philip2260-Our family had searched too for the "true" religion. We have joined JW, 7th-Day Ad, Baptist, Methodist and Mormon- and found out they are all good and descent Social Religious Organizations/Ministries. But they don't do what the Catholic Church do-Worship our Lord. Yes, they all do talk (lotsa passionate talking) about Bible verses, but no one prays and commemorate the Passion of Christ, everyday. There's a lot of singing, arguing and investigating but no one prays fervently.

  • @philip2260-In many countries, younger people address older people within their neighborhood, community, even strangers - Papa, Mama, Granny, Sis, Bro, Auntie and Uncle. This is the kind of culture/custom Americans will not understand, but other ethnicity accept and practice (actually, I am being addressed -Auntie- by my clients' children). This is the reason why the first Bishop of Rome was being called Papa (translation-Pope). Addressing elders -Pope or Papa- is part of Roman culture.

  • ...You will not all rest in Peace, unless you rest in the Holy and Apostolic Church of the Lord - the Catholic Church!

As a starter for Conversion, just go to wikipedia and check the meaning of CATOLICO.

  • THe ancient Obelisks of Babylon are to many in Rome/Vatican. Signifies she loves spiritual prostitution. The Obelisk is male phallus. For the Japenese it is a dragons' tower. In the Bible the Dragon is the Devil. So Obelisks are Satan's tower where many can be found in Vatican.

  • @minescore ...I have taught History of Architecture. I did not find any interpretation like yours in any AR History book perse. Washington DC has obelisk too (the Monument) and Cleopatra's needle is an Obelisk too. These are called LANDMARKS !!! Catholic Church' practices, tradition and history are not based on these Obelisks! Catholic Church is One, Holy, Universal and Apostolic Church, founded by the Lord...not by Men!

  • The Roman Vatican is highly Moving the world into Ecumenism. Combining all religions to formulate One World Religion. John 14:6 Jesus said, I AM the WAY, the Truth and The LIFE no comes to the Father but by ME.

The Roman Theologians will say there are many ways. They are denying what Jesus said.

  • Amen! A great book on Mary is Archbishop Fulton Sheen's "The World's First Love" Read it! :-)

  • hi, just watched your video. iam a protestant, you say you were also a protestant. then you would know that protestants only listen to scripture as the final word. doctrine must have at least 2 or 3 scriptures to prove it, and must be in context. this is why we dont pray to the dead, mary or any other name cozs the bible says that there is no other name but Jesus. but you would know this, so why did you not give any scrips? ps as an ex catholic, peace does not = salvation

  • @philip2260 ONLY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS THE TRUE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST, APOSTOLIC CHURCH PROVIDES ALL SACRAMENTS AND THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE - OF THE LIVING GOD - THE BREAD OF LIFE IN THE EUCHARIST!

WITH 2,000 YEARS OF TRADITION AND SACRIFICES OF CHRISTIANS TODAY WE KNOW WHAT THE BIBLE AND SALVATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST IS.

  • @philip2260-Go to Europe and Israel to see the relics (architectural buildings) of Catholic History and Tradition. Catholicism is not proven by 2 or 3 Bible passages. It is deeper than those arguments. Don't you wonder why the bone-relics of St. Peter were buried at the Vatican Hill under the Vatican Church? And why did St. Peter chose Pope Linus to lead his flock after his eminent death? And why did Pope Linus chose Pope Anacletus thereafter?

Checkout the meaning of Catolico in Wikipedia.

  • @lodifoj 1> there is no real proof where peters bones are.

2>no one is saying that the catholic church is not old. but the bible, surly is the truth, and is older then the relics.

3> peter was a apostie not a pope. pope is no where in the bible

4> the bibles teaching is different from the Catholics teaching. my family is catholic from Scotland. i was brought up catholic, but in reading the bible i see they teach difrent things.

5>Checkout the traditions in the bible. what the Lord had to say

  • testing

  • god bless you for converting to the one true church

  • @ulstercriag But Jesus is God

  • @franciscanfriars are you for real??? jesus is gods son you freak!!!

  • @ulstercriag you are very ignorant on catholicism and plain christianity for that matter. The three persons make up one God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the Son. Therefore, He is God. Please understand what you are talking about before making these insulting comments. God Bless!

  • @franciscanfriars So does that mean that we should have statues of Jesus' grandparents to kneel before? I don't think Mary would statues of herself...she would be too modest for that and she would ask that they be removed.

  • @caycug1 ...To save your soul, maybe you should watch this movie- The Reluctant Saint. You would be amused of your comment here after watching this movie.

  • @lodifoj Jesus already saved my soul. He paid the price for my sins, so that I will have everlasting life. I can't save my own soul by my works...Only Jesus sacrifice could have paid for my salvation.

  • @caycug1 that is very unorthodox because jesus had no ancestors besides God the Father, he did not have a physical father therefore he has no grandparents. Thats where we get Immaculate Conception, and Jesus being the Son of God

  • @pimper347 Mary was a virgin, highly favored of God, and blessed among women (Luke 1). But she wasn't a godess. She was just a virtuous women whom God chose to give birth to his son. The early romans worshipped many godesses, so when they became Christians they mixed there old beliefs with Christianity and turned Mary into a godess. Mixing religions still happens today all around the world.

  • @caycug1 your right, she wasnt a goddess, she was blessed. There is only one God

  • @caycug1 Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ the Son of God, the God of Adam & Eve, Moses, Noah, Abraham. She is a Divine human being. You can call her a goddess or queen she is neither. Mary is the divinity of family of strength as Jesus loved his Mother as I love Jesus for his sacrifice and and love.

  • @SolarWinds63 There are no "Divine" human beings. (see Romans 3:23) Mary was blessed among women, but even she needed a savior. She said "And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." (Luke 1:47) Also John the Baptist was greater "Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." (Matthew 11:11)

  • @caycug1 Mary Holy Mother of Jesus Christ was divine to God as Noah was a Divine human being he and his family (because of Noah) were selected out of the millions of God's divinity or creation's on earth.

  • @SolarWinds63 I love Jesus also. He is Good, and He is the true Savior of the world.

  • @caycug1 Amen brother. Thank you for sharing your faith with me.

  • @pimper347 Where and how was Jesus born?

  • @pimper347 Did you mean the Incarnation here? The Immaculate Conception refers to Mary being born without Original Sin. The two are often confused. God love you.

  • @caycug1 Statutes as pictures we use today are the same. Catholics do not prey to statutes, or the dead. The saints are in heaven. If you go into a church or a Christians home and do not see Jesus Christ on the cross how do you know they are true Christians?

I have been into Christians homes and Churches and see a flag but not Jesus.

  • @SolarWinds63 You can identify true Christians by their love. (see 1 John 4:1-7)) Also by their words. (see Romans 10:9) Just because someone doesn't have a cross in their house doesn't mean that they aren't a Christian.

I don't see any scripture where we are encouraged to communicate with deceased saints. Jesus is our "One Mediator"...we don't need to pray to Mary or anyone else (see 1 Timothy 2:5).

  • @caycug1 Sola Scriptura... Did you wave a flag on 9/11? Do u have a xmas tree, Do eat turkey on thanks giving, Do profess your a citizen of the united states? Do you have a photo album of dead relatives, and wish they were still with you or admire them and visit there graves? Who is your example of a good person a just person not being Jesus Christ or God. Do you dream and imagine and wish?

  • @SolarWinds63 Jesus is my ideal role model, and I worship Him. Any acts of someone behaving in a Christ-like way are examples for me to follow. Mary was a good role model, but I don't worship her. The theif on the cross who repented was a good role model in that he repented. Everyone has good actions and bad actions. Only Jesus was sinless, so we shouldn't elevate or worship humans. All Christians try to do good, and we all fall short of perfection. Only Jesus was perfect.

  • @caycug1 Catholics do not worship or see Mary or any saints as gods. Jesus was a human being on earth when he rose from the dead he was perfect. He was born of a human being...

  • @SolarWinds63 Jesus was God in the flesh. His entire life on earth was perfect. He suffered in the flesh, but He never sinned. He was perfect even before He rose from the dead. He suffered for us, which pleased God, and was sufficient to cover our sins. We don't atone for our own sins...He did it all for us. (see John 3:14-15)

  • @SolarWinds63 (cont.) All that the Israelites had to do was look up at the bronze serpent to live (see Numbers 21:4-9) Therefore we have assurance of our salvation (1 John 5:11-13) Also see Exodus 12...Christ is our "passover".

  • @franciscanfriars thats why we say "holy mary mother of god"

  • @ulstercriag shut your pie hole protty

  • @ulstercriag We settled the nestorian Heresy 1700 years ago. If you do not see Jesus as God and Mary as His Holy Mother then you aren't Christian. Since you are not Christian I question whether you can call anything evil especially the largest and Oldest Christian Church in the world.

  • GREAT INFO AND TRUTH ABOUT CATHOLICISM. GOD BLESS THOSE WHO READ THE TRUTH OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH...IT IS ABOUT SPIRITUALITY AND DISCIPLINE THAT WILL GET US CLOSER TO JESUS AND HIS MIRACLES OF LIFE. THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO

  • Please go to my channel and watch the videos from stephen k. ray called "Finding The Fullness Of Faith." Protestants, you are wrong!!!

  • I knew exactly what he was talking about with regards to Mary. Devotion to her is so, so beautiful. Mary is the mother of the Church. You love your mother, right? So, so touching.

  • Always love to hear a good conversion story!

  • God bless you, and thank you for sharing your story. My prayer is that people realize how important it is to have the mother of God pray for us at the hour of death. we live in an age when it's so easy to fall into mortal sin, and I think that asking our Blessed Mother to pray for us at the hour of death is asking her to intercede for us that we are Given the Grace to die in a state of Grace. Jesus refuses her nothing because she only asks for His will to be done.

  • What a great witness. I have alson experienced this mans joy. Good on ya big guy.

  • @PikSokolit .....lol

  • Neil, what a beautiful testimony! I was deeply moved by your witness and felt an inspiration come upon me that told me the hand of Our Lady is upon you. God bless you brother!

  • Amen, dear brother in Christ!! I now love our Blessed Mother and the Saints. Makes total sense to call on those PERFECTED in Heaven to intercede for us, if we ask those of our friends on earth to pray for us. Those in Heaven, in HIS glorified PRESENCE are much more able to pray for us, w/out the stain of sin!!!! Wonderful, honest, sincere witness to the TRUTH, of the Catholic Church and her Doctrine of Mary and the Saints! God bless you!

  • I want to welcome you home to the Catholic Church, Mother Mary still leads more people to Christ than what some Protestants care to admit!

  • I have to set up to accept those who are not friends.

Besides, I already know the truth.

  • the catholic church believes in salvation by works which is completely false, salvation is a free gift by God, Catholics are being deceived.

  • You are going to have to answer to God for this heresy and praying to marry.

  • Very touching.

We Catholics can learn from people like Neil to appreciate the depth and richness of our faith

  • Agree.

I can relate to Neil, because I used to be in his shoes.

  • @aldsza if the catholic church cared about its people, it would actually do something about the poor catholic country tht starve from poverty, why dont they share their wealth? because the pope is a power hungry old man who was picked by a few men in a room, he is no more holyer than you or I, as it says in the BIBLE!!! no man is mediator between man and god but jesus christ :-) protestants seem to be the only ones that grasp the bible

  • @ulstercriag ....You have based your opinion on the brevity of your knowledge about Catholic Church. Our Catholic leaders do not lambast other religious social clubs like yours because they had professed their vows of Chastity, Obedience, Humility, Purity & Poverty to our Lord. The ornate architectural Church-buildings used for worship of our Lord (He deserves the best) are not owned by our Pope and Priests (He also deserves the most intelligent & humble servants like our Pope, Nuns & Priests).

  • should people hold a grudge against other religons?

the brittish once made it illegal to be catholic in ireland?

churches had to be built in the middle of nowhere.

going further back catholics had to pray up in mountains, and it had been like that

priests were sent of the country

and thats not even half of it

  • @anoldalarmclock are you for real?????? in the whole of britain it was made illegal to be anything other than catholic, it was the british monarchy that made religion free from predjudice, in scotland thousands were burnt at the stake because they owned an english bible, which the vatican wanted kept latin so that poor people couldnt read it and they would hold power over them. You Bigot

  • @ulstercriag read real history!

Protestants were killing catholics in England and Scotland!!!

  • Amen to that....what a beautiful journey to Catholics...may all protestant opened their heart to our Mother of God Mary.

  • I am the pope...I am the bos...if God wanted to deliver His Son thru Mary, it wouldn't be possible unless Mary had been cleansed from all sin...I know the bible never says that...but who cares...I am the bos, and I get to say what God can or can not do for He has given me the Magic Key to bind and to loose...thank you for your faith in me

  • @dkuncara Mary WAS sinless you troglodyte.

  • @baredd79 ...How dare you call me names...I will anathematize you...go rot in hell...I get to say who's sinful and who's sinless...NOT you..who just follow whatever I say...you're not infallible...you are a mere human..I am God on earth...Go and find me some beautiful altar boys...that's your penance!!!...DO IT NOW!!!

  • Your not a Pope. Your some pimple faced geek who works as a stock boy at the local IGA in your home town. Just another mongoloided out Protestant who gets his theology teachings at a KU KLUX KLAN rally deep in the heart of Biloxi. I'll be praying for your conversion. By the way, a 2007 Associated Press report stated that three insurance companies received 260 reports a year of kids sexually abused by Protestant cleregy . That's higher than the average 228 RCC accusations. Chew on that nitwit!

  • @baredd79 .....keep giving people names...NICE...we taught you well...hahaha...but I am the pope for real.... those alleged protestants are in jail...hahahha....but relax..I will protect our priests...no worries my son...hahaha....now...where's that altar boys I asked of you for your penance?...hahhaa

  • @muridyesus mary is not mother of god, she is mother of jesus, no1 els mother of god you twat!!!!!!

  • Jesus Christ has returned. I AM.

  • ISIAH 63:16 16 But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, O LORD, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.

This is the prayer of Isiah!! abraham and JACOB were dead by this time when he said the prayer so what he is saying is that dead people do not acknowledge us in other words they dont hear us.. only GOD hear our prayers!!! cause he is GOD

  • DID Jesus ever PRAY to MARY? she respected her as a mother just like the protestant but her purpose on earth is done. We are all the same, we are all sinners that includes mary!! ROMANS 3:23

  • No she never prayed to mary, yet catholics do not pray to mary. We talk to her as a blessed friend within the body of her son.

  • @RockyBalboa211 ...then you're not a catholic..hail mary specifically dedicated to mary..."pray for us sinners now and at the end of our death"...so catholics do pray to mary asking her to pray for them to God.

  • Yet, that's what I mean.. Prayer is only reserved for Jesus Christ, prayer to the saints (mary) and angels are basically talks with them since they our are friends within the body of Christ. We just say prayer since it is easier to say and also we can ask these friends within the body of christ to pray for us.

  • @RockyBalboa211 ....there is a huge different between asking Mary/saints to pray for you and asking your friends/relatives to pray for you...be careful...GBU

  • Yes, your friends and relatives are sinners, while Mary is in heaven with God.

Let's see now, I definately feel comfortable asking Mary to pray for me.

  • the different is that rome's mary is omnipresent, friends and relatives are not....do whatever you feel comfortable with....I only wanna tell you the truth and the rest is up to God...I don't want to force you or anything...John 6:44,65

  • You mean Mary the Mother of God. Get it right. You accept Jesus as God according to our doctrine, but you still won't accept Mary as the Mother of God.

How deceived are you. Evangelical Baptist like you have been brain washed to deny Mary and to leave her as a child bearer.

You still haven't answer my question. Why don't you guys see her as the Blessed Mother of God?

  • Nowhere in the bible does it state faith "alone" justifies, and this new doctrine was not heard of before the 16th century. Why did the Protestant reformers propose it and what authority gave it to them?

  • How do you explain Ephesians 2:8-9, Isaiah 64:6, Roman 4:5, 5:1,11:6, I John 1:7, Gal2:21, Gal 3:21?

Again, our authority is the bible itself, not human beings.

  • Btw...the authority is with the Apostles that jesus gave his authority too. the Bible wasn't even around till the 4th ce.

Everything was by way of traditional teaching which was Oral.

Care to challenge me on this?

  • already answered this...please it is a forum for adult discussion, not a challenge. I am representing my faith...you represent your faith...does not mean that you have to believe what I believe and vice versa. get it?...grow up dude?...it's about time

  • You are a spammer. I just sitting back and watching you do your thing.

You can't seem to focus on anything. Stay with one topic and let's see how good your faith is.

  • neither can you

  • Baptists have historically been in conflict with others. They have been in conflict of views with others, not only on the saving experience itself but also upon the doctrinal message of that experience. In I Cor. 1:10, Gal. 1:6-9, perhaps in Acts 19:1-7 and likely in other places, the Bible seems very insistent on agreement in how we preach the message of salvation. Surely, on this important doctrine, the Lord did not ordain the confusion so obvious in modern denominations.

  • we may have differences in how we worship the Lord, but the foundation is the same. Specially, the foundation of the true salvation itself.

  • NO we don't have the same foundation.

that's why I left the Protestant church. The Catholics have the truth and only them has the authority.

Protestant churches are man - made with man made roots.

Name any of them and I will tell you how they were made.

Jesus only gave us ONE church and it is not your church. We know the Baptist came about in the late 16 ce. in England and the US. Anabaptist ring a bell to you?

  • I see the Catholic hater is back.

Alright, I'm ready for another round too.

Traditional Baptist, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost."

Fundamental Baptist, "I baptize you in the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit."

Evangelical Baptist, "I baptize you in the name of Jesus!"

You need a dogma. You Baptist can't agree on this.

  • I may disagree with some of the RCC teachings but that does not mean that I hate catholics...Love the sinners, hate the sin.

The bible itself is the dogma, our authority, it says that baptism is in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy spirit.

  • don't block your personal messages if you want the truth

  • You can't even tell us your denomination.

You have a hard time telling us your religion and your background. And yet, we are very open to you on our faith.

So are you going to be straight this time about your religion or are you going to play this game again.

  • that's because you don't read all my replies, I've told you once. I'm a baptist.

  • Right, right..I remember. I got you confuse for a 7th Day Adventist. Your the Baptist from Indonesia.

Now why are you following this religion when your charismatic pastors can't seem to agree with each other?

There's no solid ground from this Protestant religion. We're talking about 8 different Baptist denomination who excommunicated each other.

Remember, I graduated from Cal Baptist University. I know your history.

  • "pray for us sinners now till the hour of our death..."

    That's a request, moron!!!

You go to the cementary and kneel down in front of your dead love ones and talk to them. Now is that worship?

Prayer is both communication with the spirit and worship. It's God we worship, others we ask for their prayers.

I know your thinking. I used to be an Evangelical Christian who used to talk bad about Catholics. So nothing you say I can't rebuttal.

  • why would you make such request then? if you don't believe that mary would be present at the death of all catholics, you need to study your catechism again.

I don't kneel down in front of anything but God.

Most catholics in youtube claim that they were once protestant, but they have different views on the teaching of rcc...which is odd, to say the least

  • That's because most converts can now see, compare to your religion who once did agreed with the RCC on the Saints in 19th Ce. But now you neo-protestants are changing the rules again in order to go by today's standard.

BTW..why do you guys kneel in front of your Pastors with your hands up in the air as he prays for you. Are you worshipping your Pastor then.

BTW..Mary is not rich. Your Pastors are from you guys.

  • So Fundamentals don't dance, but you Evangelical do.

Your pastor preach, sings and dance on stage. He proclaims that the Holy Spirit moves him. I find that very wrong. Apostles didn't dance around when they preach.

  • If you don't feel comfortable with dancing, it is OK..in fact, I don't either...but we all believe that salvation is achieve thru faith, not just any faith, the kind of faith that is described in James 2

  • Look at what Wiki said about your church's root:

Baptist churches are generally regarded as identifying with Protestantism, and many would also align with evangelicalism.

  • keep browsing on Wiki...you have the right to do that

  • "Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. Because he that is mighty, hath done great things to me; and holy is his name." Luke 1:48

Explain this according to your religion.

  • This means that Mary is blessed for she was chosen by God to deliver baby Jesus....with that being said, Mary does not have the super ability to hear millions of prayer requests at the same time. We protestant say that Mary was indeed blessed, and played significant role in the nativity. The Bible supports that too. We agree with "Hail Mary, full of grace, blessed art thou among women..." but when you say "pray for us sinners now and at the hour.."..this is where we disagree.

  • Explain this one too:

"And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women." Luke 1:28

  • already answered

  • As Catholics we believe that everyone was saved by Christ, Mary was saved BUT by ANTICIPATION. If you believe that Jesus is God, how can God take flesh, incarnate from a sinful nature? The immaculate conception of Mary has to do more with Jesus than with Mary. In fact all her being was totally devoted to bring us Jesus. Well, that is the path that God chose to come to us, blessed is this path. She has always been and is FULL of grace. Arent we all saved by grace?

  • You say "what have we done for Mary"?

She is my sister in Christ.

I will see her in heaven and she and I both got there by accepting the Lord Jesus as Saviour.

She was a sinner just like scripture tells us "there is NONE good NO NOT ONE"

  • I used to be Evangelical where I go around telling people they have to be born again. I remember telling them that they are going to hell is they follow the Catholic Church.

I was wrong ofcourse and I was arrogant to think that my former church was the right church. When it's nothing more than a typical Protestant denomination that started in 1904.

Jesus only established one church. He didn't tell his Apostles to go and put up different denominational churches.

    so June4156 is arrogant

  • I simply cling to the ONLY Saviour God, the Lord Jesus

HE claimed to be THE WAY THE TRUTH and THE LIFE

In Acts 4;12 it tells us there "is NO other name under heaven by which we MUST be saved"

  • A writing by a former Born Again:

All of their lives, they "sinned" & behaved wrongly, but now, after their spiritual enlightenment, they are finally on the right track, & living their life correctly. God, & the Bible, is their guidebook to everything that is right and good, & they feel that as long as they have faith, trust God, & read the Bible, they will always be right. Many of them even say things like "I answer to nobody but God."

  • You sir, should still be afraid of hell.

Come to JESUS ALONE. Leave out mary the pope and any other false teaching

  • Your in the wrong Church. You are following a man who you call a Pastor that is not appointed by Jesus, but appointed himself. You must know the truth.

We know that the Pope is appointed by Jesus and history is clear on that. We know Mary is his mother and that generations should call her Blessed. She was there on Pentecost and she was Jesus' first disciple.

  • You guys can't even agree on how many times a man should be dunked on water. Is it one time or 3 times?

Ask your Pastor why he's mocking the Catholic Church. History will show that Baptist have a deep root of hatred towards them.

  • It has nothing to do with hatred.

It is a matter of wanting you to "come to the knowledge of the truth"

The catholics, mormons, JWs and so many other relgions will have to answer to God for taking poor lost souls to hell

It is a serious serious matter.

You must "bow the knee" to JESUS ONLY. Salvation is NOW----NOT tomorrow

  • And makes you so sure that your religion is not taking the people to hell like you said?

  • My "religion" is ONLY being "saved" by the precious blood of our Saviour God.

I do not claim any "religion". I just meet with believers who also love the ONE WHO said "IAM the way , the truth and THE LIFE"

  • @june4156

Yup, you are an Evangelical who likes to think he's self righteous.

You've been brainwashed to think that your religion is right and everybody else's is wrong.

  • @adreecage you're the one thats brainwashed!!! what makes the pope anymore holyier than me?? his pervert priests???

  • @ulstercriag The Pope is a highly respected man that people entrust and listen to. We are equal, his home and life are in the Vatican my home and life is in my home and I respect where he has made his home from Priest to Pope, Papa, Father are the same.

  • More:

This is how many of the evangelicals feel about their new way of life. They feel that they are right about everything, and that if they have questions, faith and reading the Bible is the way to find the answers. They've found God, and they're now right. What they think in their heads is now guided by God, and many Evangelicals claim to talk directly to God, and so they just know that they're right now.

They will say non-denomination, but be warn, they are.

  • Adreecage,

The catholic church claims EVERYTHING you say we claim.

The catholic church does NOT allow for any other belief then theirs.

  • Atleast you don't see the Catholics going around arrogantly and telling other religions off.

Remember, I used to be an Evangelical. I know what you guys think of the Catholic Church. You're only interested in gaining members from them.

Too bad though that a lot of Evangelicals are converting to Catholism now. Not like in the 80's and 90's where you guys made that pitch, "Are you born again?" I certainly fell for that.

  • @june4156

You guys are indeed arrogant to call other religion wrong and yours correct. How about a debate on your Theology

  • No, NOT at all, Naturalhit,

It is NOT that my "religion" is right.

The Bible says "LET GOD be TRUE and every man a liar"

So I simply cling to the Saviour God WHO gave Himself for me. He paid my sin debt so I have "the righteousness of Christ"

THAT is the Bible----HE gives us HIS righteousness as a free gift

  • "LET GOD be TRUE and every man a liar"

In that case you are a liar. You came here like a pompous arrogant self righteous bigot who claim all are evil.

Guess what? Jesus said, "On this Rock I shall build my church. And onto thee I shall key to the kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bound on earth will be bound in Heaven. Whatever you loosen on earth shall be lose in heaven."

You ought to be grateful to the Catholics, because they are the ones who put the bible together.

  • @Naturalhit..Nope..you are the Liar, for telling people that Mary is able to hear millions of prayers, be their guidance and protections, also be present in their death. You are A BIG LIAR!!!!....ONLY GOD CAN DO ALL THAT

  • Dude, you put words into my mouth. YOU ARE THE LIAR!!!! Where did I say be their guidance and protection?

    You just committed a sin.

Problem with you Protestants is that you degraded Mary to nothing more than a child bearer. You guys accept Jesus as God according to the doctrine of the RCC, but you will not accept Mary as the Mother of God.

Generations shall call me blessed. What have you guys done?

  • Again, the reason I stop replying you was that you don't even know what you church is teaching....Jesus was, is, and will always be God without RCC..

  • I'm still waiting for you tell me where I said all those that you claim I said.

You know you LIED to me and to the other who have read it. Confess it.

  • So why are you following a Catholic doctrine on Trinity?

Why do you believe in the incarnation, when the word doesn't exist in the Bible? The Catholics made that.

Why are you reading the Bible, don't you know that if it weren't for the Catholics you wouldn't have that to read?

Why are you following a Protestant church that doesn't agree with other Protestant church?

Faith Alone and Scripture Alone then how come there's 52k different Protestants if this is your foundation?
