was the pain really that bad from drain removal? shucks. . . this is why I took law and not med (don't know why im typing tenderly). anyway - was the pain worse than bearing children or easier? Thanks so much for your vlog btw, such a major help and relief to have some insight!!! much appreciate, bless. ;D

@nurita2000 you have a friend block in order for me to send you the info in a personal message you will need to add me as a friend. I can then send you the surgeons info!
Thanks so much for uploading these videos! I am having this surgery in less than two weeks and you have been so helpful in getting the info out there on what it's going to be like. I'm scared but I know to be patient and it will all be worth it!
I am having a TT on Jan 4th . EXCITED!!! How long do you think i will be off work. I am a nurse at a nursing home. My drs nurse said 1 week and 3 days.???/ My mom who is a nurse also says... 3 weeks.
Congrats on your upcoming surgery! So, I went back at 4 weeks. Like I always say though, it's different for everyone. Just listen to your body. You have a pretty physically demanding job as well . . .so I would be cautious. I think 3 weeks is the minimum!! Good luck!
Thank you so much for the advice. I do feel alot better using all of the pillows, but I can't wait to get these drains out. I think I will feel better once they are removed.
I had my surgery on 11/05 and I am doing okay I am having trouble getting into a comfortable position. Thank you so much for your videos they are really helping me get through my recovery.
CONGRATS! That is very exciting! SO . . .to get more comforatble. Have you tried making a "fort" out of pillows? I used a bunch to prop me up, two under my legs/knees, one on each of my sides, and one under each arm. Literally surround yourself with pillows. This really helped me. I'm so sorry to hear you are uncomforatble . . .try this and let me know!
Hello, first of all u don't even know how thankful i'm with u for doing this videos. I had my TT sugery this morning n I actually feel super cool. Yay!
One last thing: I've should have done my boobs too! Lol
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am sooo happy for you! I can TOTALLY relate -- I feel like I should have had a boob lift at the same time. Oh well. There's always a next time, right??!! GOOD FOR YOU! I'm wishing you a speedy recovery and awesome results. Thank you for leaving me this comment and letting me know! Hugs,
I agree on the comment of the lower back pain. My lower back hurt way more then my surgery.I did nt have lipo that i know of but golly . i did not get stiches for my little holes.
Hi! Just got my tummy tuck! the lower pack pain from the lipo is worse the the actual tummy tuck! How long did it take to remove your drainage? Did you get stitches to close the little holes?

How long did you have the drains in before removal?
italianmarie1204 2 years ago
I had them in for 4 days -- they took them out on the morning of the 5th day. It's unusual though . . .most people need them in longer.

Yes, those drains can be really painful. I hope you get them out soon. It shouldn't be too much longer now, right?
