this gives me shivers of sheer thrills of ecstasy.... i misss RON!!!!!! X(.......... the performances with the three of them together are unlike any other ... there's just a mood, a feel that cant be replicated its inexpressible ... and even after over 30 years from the original recording Iggy can sound near to exactly the same ... it just gives me chills !!!!!! <3 <3 <3....
yes, siliodon, it's true. i saw him twice this year, in London and in Boston, and he's still amazing. even though physically he can't do the things he used to do, he's still got the energy and he can do a lot more than most 63 year olds. And that voice. It just keeps going and going.
Am I the only person on Earth who wished they'd gotten James Williamson on board? I would love to know if they can pull off any of the Raw Power stuff with Ashton on guitar ...
can't believe he's singing the same song he was singing 40 years ago, with the same guys. it's amazing, weird and inspiring. makes me feel much better about still being the same person 40 years later myself!
true. one of many tragic casualties. but we can still be grateful for the longevity of the concept of the stooges and the relative resilience of the others, no?
@hyperpoesia I think the hardest thing to believe is that even with the many transformations Iggy's voice has gone through over the years, he still sounds pretty much exactly the same as he did on the original recording of this song. Not many people are able to that after forty years.
Born James Newell "Jim" Osterberg, Jr.; April 21, 1947
That means he's like 60 years old in this video ? He aged well :)
