After watching the series"There's something about Geri" I really feel Geri was having a nervous breakdown and knew she couldn't continue the tour. She also knew she was going to leave days before she did. None of the other girls were responsible for this. Geri had to heal herself, but ego kept her from admiting it to the girls or the public.
It's funny cause Geri finally admitted years later that she left them in a lurch after previously saying she had told them before that she planned on leaving. She truly did a flit on them

Sadly I think we may never know exactly what prompted Geri to leave the band. I've heard her original idea was to leave after the Wembley show, but something snapped in her and that prompted her to leave sooner. Maybe she had a nervous breakdown or something. Whatever the reason, it was a crappy thing to do to the other girls. People tend to do stupid things when they're younger and I think she regrets leaving the way that she did.
watching this makes me feel sad even to this day, because i remember when i was a wee one i was devestated when geri left... and this was the first real interview/documentary right after. so watching it makes me feel weird :(
hmmm i don't agree at all... i agree with Mel B... think of those fans that paid to see her...and then she didn't show. We all know they butted heads but still no reason to leave. I heard it was because Geri was becoming to much the centre figure even though she wasn't the better singer
it`s obvious judging by their faces and reactions that Victoria,Emma and Mel C didn`t agree with the things Brown was saying.... and about the reasons of Geri`s departure, after all this years everybody knows that she left because of Brown, the true issues between them we may never know but there`s gotta be a reason of why nowdays we see Geri,Victoria,Mel C and Emma cool and together all the time and no Mel B in a thousand miles....

i was 4 when geri left and even being that young i remember being really upset. They were my favorite singers! i just wish i knew why she left!

Actually theres anothers videos of Geri after leaving the Spice Girls.She felt that she had nothing more to give to the band:thats why she left.
