Actually, teenagers ruined youtube. Youtube was never meant to be used to upload copyrighted material but teens did it which was against the terms of agreement and the creaters of youtube was getting shit for it so they sold it to google. Vevo was created and teamed up with Google so half of the revenue money was split between the two, which led to the musicians' record labels to earn profit.
