This is late summer 1957 and Ernie Kovacs' first appearance on WML. About a month later, Kovacs started a string of appearances (10 out of 14 weeks) in which G-T auditioned him as a possible permanent fourth panelist.
THANK YOU so much. It's so nice to see new WML videos. I've been looking for them for a while. Please keep posting if you have more. Thanks again, great job! :)
"let's get to the issue of the program" perhaps? In other words, stay on topic? This is the first time I have tried getting something from a DVD onto YouTube, and I don't know why the audio is so low...
Bette Ford is still around and has her own website! betteford(dot)net

What a fun clip! I enjoyed Arlene after the occupation was discovered. Also, I laughed when Ernie disclosed to Martin why his arm was around Arlene.

Hooray for Arelene, but Dorothy's questioning is once again brilliant.

What did John Daly say at 1:37? He appeared to be a little irritated at Ernie Kovacs' lapse of good taste, but I can't make out what he said.

Really, I think John was just going along with Ernie's joke.
