I have done exactly like in the video, and the server i've made was running perfect until this afternoon. When it was only me in the server, everything went well, but when my friend tried to join my Mac said " Connection lost. Internal Exception: Java.net.SocketTimeoutExceptio­n: Read timed out ". Why? :)

What are you recording with? How do you get it?

@Kingammorak if you don't need in game footage very much i suggest using quicktime. It comes on all macs and works great for recording. But it lags like crazy in game. If you are doing in game get camtasia. it works great with no lag. Its problem is it takes about 10x longer to export on a mac then on a pc so its bad if you are doing long recording. Personally i suggest getting a windows side for your computer if you want to do game recording

Help! I've had a server before, but now, when I start it up (I got a new mac), instead of loading in about 2-3% increments, it loads in 8 percent increments, and says something about "Unable to find spawn biome," and I can't connect to the server. Please help!

@TFLWProductions i highly suggest you do the more ram because as of 1.4 (long time ago) servers can't really run on the amount of ram given and your server will crash a lot

And, since you use the same account for your own server as you would for other peoples server, you just have to buy a multiplayer account
