Haley's lower register is really strong here!

I think by the end of the show, her voice was starting to wear, and that's why the verses in "You Oughta Know" were weak in the lower register.

I seriously think Haley is the best contestant to come out of Idol. Her chest register, upper register, and falsetto are out-of-this-world good. And her tone is like Adele, Joss Stone, and a little Janis Joplin all mixed together. She's very unique and very talented.

Haley's voice like Adele's has a retro feel to it, and that's why she's so amazing! After Rolling In the Deep and Someone Like You going #1 on top-40 radio I think Haley will be very successful. And she will help good music come back to mainstream!

Very hard to dance and sing the way she tried...JLo probably lip syncs when she's dancing on stage (definitely on videos). i knew Naima would let herself down on the show. She never consistantly sang as well as she did her and for her wildcard performance.

@Scanned Christina is very sloppy, but she can get away with it because very few people have an almost 4 octave vocal range with the power she has. Also, she's not a classical singer. She's not Sarah Brightman, she's a pop singer.

@Scanned Christina doesn't oversing as much as she did a few years ago and to me she's one of very few artists that can oversing songs without making it sound bad, i think Jacob sounds beautiful sometimes when he oversings though. Overall, there are very few contemporary artists sing with good techniques, most of pop artists are not classically trained. But think about Christina, Haley or other artists they growl so frequently but never damage their vocal chords, how many ppl can do that?
