Anyone else think that the Q must have visited Earth from time to time before the discovery of warp technology -- possibly before the discovery of the New World, even -- and provided the inspiration for certain myths (such as the Norse myths about Loki, for example)? For that matter, Apollo in "Who Mourns For Adonais?" seemed to have many of the same abilities that the Q have but nobody has ever suggested a possible connection between Apollo and the Q as they have between Trelane and the Q.

@OreadNYC Trelane and Q, YES. Apollo and Q, hmmm, possibly and I mean that in a positive way. I always figured that the DeLance type Q was a little younger than the Quin Q from Voyager. And the Quin Q did visit Earth several times, once getting Newton hit in the head with an apple, another giving the sound guy a ride to Woodstock, and even earlier saving Thadius Rikers life in the civil war. Not like a Loki, but that would be an awesome connection to make.
