  • Worf looked so disappointed when the babes disappear.

  • fucking love this scene. i use it every time i return home to let people know

  • Like if you laughed in synch with Data.

  • Jesus fucking christ I hate videos that start with blue background, white text, and waiting too fucking long for the actual video to start.

  • @Chris4400 I used to wonder about that to, until i bought a computer with windows movie maker

  • Worf looks kinda disappointed when the women leave....

  • Poor Worf, Picard is such a cock block.

  • Riker says, "I don't need your fantasy women", yet he has a holographic girlfriend on the Holodeck. Remember, her name is Minuet.

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN The "Minuet" hologram was added by the Bynars, and after it's "completion", the Minuet Riker knew, was nowhere to be found.

  • @darkthunder84, I was under the impression that Riker continued to "Visit" Minuet on the holodeck regularly.

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN If you watch the episode 11001001 (Season 1, Ep 15), Riker tells Picard that he tried multiple variations on the holodeck, but "No Minuet". In a later episode (Future Imperfect), an alien tries to convince Riker that Minuet is real.

  • Worf at 00:23 "Jesus Fuc**ng christ"

  • @darkrogue234 Yeah, LOL.

  • Before the beard...

  • Anyone else think that the Q must have visited Earth from time to time before the discovery of warp technology -- possibly before the discovery of the New World, even -- and provided the inspiration for certain myths (such as the Norse myths about Loki, for example)? For that matter, Apollo in "Who Mourns For Adonais?" seemed to have many of the same abilities that the Q have but nobody has ever suggested a possible connection between Apollo and the Q as they have between Trelane and the Q.

  • @OreadNYC Trelane and Q, YES. Apollo and Q, hmmm, possibly and I mean that in a positive way. I always figured that the DeLance type Q was a little younger than the Quin Q from Voyager. And the Quin Q did visit Earth several times, once getting Newton hit in the head with an apple, another giving the sound guy a ride to Woodstock, and even earlier saving Thadius Rikers life in the civil war. Not like a Loki, but that would be an awesome connection to make.

  • @OreadNYC He did... and did other Q. See the Voyager Episode about the Q.

  • 1:18 love how Geordi looks like "I want some b*tches..."

  • is it weird that this makes me tear up a little?

  • @shiznak55 Naw this makes me miss Data too.

  • "you wernt like that before the beard" lol

  • @1noen1 forgive my ignorance, but that's what Aspergers can do to you (not getting the joke) sides, I wasn't mad, just wanted to set the record proper

  • Worf's looking so disappointed...

  • Worf was all about it.

  • hehe "I don't need your fantasy women." perfectly in character, and what a line.

  • Worf gets disappointed when the bitches leave

  • @NJpanther05 Actually, afaik he once stated, that human females are too fragile for him. (I just killed the joke, didn't I? :-))

  • Geordie: "Data... why are you laughing?"

Data: "Fuck up Geordie! Why the hell can't I laugh just this once?! Mood-killer!"

  • So cute! It's the same sort of giggle they doctors on M*A*S*H did when they really got going. Not to get cliche, but it's infectious.

  • AWESOME ENDING!!!

Q is awesome!!! AWESOME!!! I would like to see Trelane one day again too.

  • What the hell is wrong with Picard, it's not like they have something big to do anyway yet he still starts yelling at Q trying to disperse all comedy, why can't he just have a party for a few minutes and then continue on with Enterprise?

  • @DarthRushy Picard can't help it though. He has that almighty large stick up his ass. Q tried to remove it to make Picard happy but even Q wasn't powerful enough to remove it. Hence, Picard is still grumpy as all fuck.

  • @csgrambauer Hahaha...

  • @DarthRushy Lol well you know it's true. xD

  • @csgrambauer I still wanted to see Trelane.

  • Take a look at Worf when he sees Q starting.

  • I loved this ending, so wonderful for Data, a real nice thing Q did.

  • Geordie had to spoil it I don't know how they all managed not to laugh with him I would have died lol x

  • @2490debrick I know I just said that right now when I watched it. Damn you Georgie for ruining Data's laughter.

  • @csgrambauer *Geordie.

  • "It was a wonderful...feeling" Awww Data :D

  • Will Riker had to reject the two women Q gave him. Otherwise, he'd get no more ass from Counselor Troi.

  • 1:09

Picard's annoyed that he didn't get two fantasy women. lol

  • Thumb up if you here cause my little pony..

  • 2:28 XD

  • As much as I love Q, an omniscient individual should know how to play trumpet... or at least learn some fake fingerings... His trumpet "playing" is painfully fake :(

  • @lnventlve he's Q the trumpet plays it's self

  • DisQord

  • @eeyuup

Well, we know what happened to the Element of Laughter for those few hours...

  • Does anyone else think that Data has something of Stan Laurel about him?

  • @BradBrassman Brent Spiner said at a convention that he had *exactly* that in mind when he did this particular scene. Good call. :-)

  • @BradBrassman So someone else noticed it, too! At 2:43-2:44, he's got the Laurel baffled look down perfectly. My dad's a huge Laurel and Hardy fan; I saw a lot of them as a kid.

  • @BradBrassman --Brent Spiner actually mentioned Stan Laurel was his inspiration for that laugh. You can find it on YouTube under "HOW DATA GOT HIS LAUGH".

  • @BradBrassman -- Actually, if memory serves (and it usually does), Brent Spiner -- the actor who brought Data to life -- has portrayed Stan Laurel at some point in the past either on TV or in theater. I remember seeing a picture of him once costumed as Stan Laurel.

  • Lol, I love it when Q is all happy and I just love Data's laugh, its so, cute :3

  • Geordie annoyed me here. "Why are you laughing?" Was he not watching? Didn't he see Q there, and hear what he said? It's OBVIOUS why Data was laughing.

  • haha worf seemed a bit put out when the "fantasy women" vanished. XD

  • oh. de lancy knows how to play trumpet. He wanted to show off :)

  • All of the explosive unexpected situational problematic.... Prophet Micaiah, eat your heart out.

  • you weren't like that before the beard!

  • @flagg00 I personally have been growing a beard now, just to see if people act differently around me, and they do.

  • @DraftMasterJohn me too. It is giving me power like samson's hair.

  • @flagg00 My supervisor at work just takes my suggestions as cold hard facts now...instead of saying, "well, maybe...if my way doen't work we MIGHT try John's way next." He now just says, "hmmm, yes we'll try it that way." Go figure.

  • @DraftMasterJohn For me it's the other way around, I can only get dates when I don't have a beard.

  • @sixshooter500 Isn't that odd now, what part of the country do you live in. In the southeast beards give you power, like Samson, like you were saying. Hmmm?

  • @DraftMasterJohn Beardcists! Beardscrimination! beard...that's actually all I have. Sorry for that.

  • @Hellsconsort Actually I have been getting a tad bit more respect at work since the beard. It has been better than my wildest Beard-spectations. LOL.

  • "I don't need your fantasy women."

    Boys then?

  • Dunno. And here I thought Riker was straight as a warp reactor. Any special requests for other trek clips? I ask my commenters that some times. I get my best ideas from that.

  • @1noen1 He can get his own real women.

  • @rtenenbaum They also have a good working holodeck to use.

  • @1noen1 EXTREME faggotry.

  • @1noen1 No, real women, you douche.

  • @1noen1 its called a holodeck, "i dont need YOUR fantasy women when I can make my own in the holodeck

  • @TheMMOFifty Boys for you too then?

  • @1noen1 happily heterosexual thank you,but I respect other peoples right to their own sexual orientation

  • @TheMMOFifty -- It's a joke about a crappy Sy-Fy show from twenty years ago, relax.

  • @1noen1 Crappy? Blasphemy!

  • ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

  • "you have my everlasting gratitude... until next time" LOL, I love this episode!

  • Joyestel,

I rewatched TNG recently...when I got to this episode I couldn't stop laughing.

    BTW,

Do you have any Trek requests?

    What is your favorite episode(s)?

    What are your favorite scenes?

    Later,

    DraftMasterJohn

  • @DraftMasterJohn sorry for such a late response... I didn't see your reply ^_^'

so... to answer to your questions...

1.Trek requests? well... I love all the episodes in which Q appears... so could you make something like Q scenes...? something funny :D

2.Favorite episodes... well... this one (Deja Q) :D, "I, Borg", "Tin Man", and there are others, but I can't remember their title now...

3.Favorite scenes? There are too many... Q scenes, Data scenes...

  • I specially like the scene where Data sings a song (I think it was when he had emotions): "Life forms, tiny little life forms..." something like that, and the looks on Riker when he hears Data LOL!

    what about you?

  • @DraftMasterJohn

ah, about the request... you've already done that... LOL, I've just seen it... sorry, I didn't realise ^_^'

  • Yes I posted a Q video. I even have a Data one, where he recites the Ode to Spot. Lifeforms is on Generations. I might post that soon too. A Data compilation might be funny too. If you haven't seen both the What is a Q and the Ode to Spot look em up. Thanks, please subscribe and Enjoy.
