  • Doubleneck bass? Cool.

  • Dale and all of the band are awesome. I'm proud to know him as a personal friend, as well as a great musician. Anyone says something bad about them, That can GET MY BOOT! >:D

Great people. Keep rocking. God bless you all. :)

  • @hylianprincess7 LOL, Be nice now...

    God bless,

    Cindy

  • Great post, and I just thought I would throw my 2 cents in. Dale and Troy are both wonderful Men of God. I saw them live a few times but I vividly remember them right around the time Drop came out. Unbelievable gig!

  • from what cd this song is from?

  • is this the snakes in the playground guys?

  • @breakinglevee Yes. The same.

  • Dale and Bride are such awesome men of God and I love their music. withmenotI dude I am sure it is just a misunderstanding, but you are handling it VERY unchristlike running him down like this. The Bible says go talk to him if you have a problem, not run Dale down behind his back in a public way (Matthew 18:15-35). This type of infighting among Christiams publicly turns people off about Christianity. Let's love and forgive each other and let things go.

  • @allmensaved Dale who? Thomson, or another Dale? Universalist??

  • Dale = little boy in man's body.

He had me deceived. I thought he operated in love as God would have us. He de-friended me for the slightest of offenses when I meant no harm but to be helpful. Unbelievable. No forgiveness there. I apologize. No warning. Just cut off. Nothing like the God I know who is full of mercy that endures forever. Man, beware of your heart around him.

  • He's just a man brother. All men sin, make mistakes whatever. If you were friends with him maybe just go by there one day and talk to him. Sometimes friends need to talk stuff out face to face.

  • I met Dale at Cstone in 2001. Briefly anyway. Cant say much about him, but I got treated by a pastor thats in a heavy metal christian band just about the same way. It is quite upsetting, and I feel ya brother. But ya just gotta let it go. But you probably shouldn't slander him on here like that, otherwise his management agency may try to sue you.

I gotta say though, that was the final straw for me as far as christianity went.

  • Algun dia estare nuevamente viendo a BRIDE en vivo

  • Amen. Sorry this sat here unapproved for so long.

    God bless.

    Cindy

  • Briiiiiiide!!!!!!

  • this is Dale Thompson

  • heavy metaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal

  • It's more than that. A Universalist believes that regardless of how much sin is in the world, God will save all of mankind before the end of the world, even those who reject Him.

  • Dale's always been strong in his convictions and boy he can sure rock it old school like.

  • Why did HM let them play their stage? Isn't dale a universalist now?

  • Sadly Dale is a Universalist now. But since Bride technically never became a "secular" band and still play songs from past albums, that's probably why they were invited to play Cornerstone last year.

  • What does the use of universalist mean in context here? That Dale has crossed over into secular music? Crossed over into blues music?

  • nossa como bride era bom !!!![

    hoje ta um lixo

  • Mas essa música é do ano passado...

  • Dont you judge the preacher. preacher is the judge. I dont think so ... Dale loves to pass false judgement on people he knows nothing of... and yes, Im Brides biggest fan, or at least i used to be. Real christians dont place labels or judge thousands of people based on a few bad seeds theyve met..Leave the priests alone dale!

  • Why u are impersonating Dale?WHATEVER "DALE"...

  • The song is More Than Human, off of the album This Is It.

  • Is that a Dbl neck bass? what is it? :)

Oh, Hi Troy! (if u see this) Remember me from 88?

    God Bless

    Sean

  • Great classic Christian Metal - Thanks for posting this, and please post more!

  • isar777 that is not there message.

there message is that people need to seek god.

god made it so every one who seeks him will be with him. also post more bride and vote 5 stars on all vids. so all may hear and find him

  • Is it just me or has Dale gotten Chunky?

  • It's you. See the debate above.

    God bless.

    Cindy

  • @sam4freedom74 he was body building for awhile.

  • wish I was there - thanks for posting, once of their best songs ever!

  • YAY-YA!

  • thats their main message.... everyone go heaven... false doctrines... wat a shame.

  • IF what I'm hearing about bride is true then I don't know whether to thumbs up your comment or thumbs down your comment. My repley below, covers all that, but it seems as though you don't want to see everyone go to heaven when everyone should deserve to go anyway if god really existed.

  • I'm glad to hear this from you personally: 'we won't go to hell no' thanks to the most powerful man that ever lived and still lives and who is coming to take His bride.

  • I am now 36 and hope I look that good at 44!!!

  • There you have it from the man himself. And sorry, Dale, my area of fitness expertise is "baby lifting." I don't know the difference between body building and power lifting. All I know is you looked great & sounded amazing.

  • what I'm concerned about is Bride's preaching. They've been putting out some questionable doctrine on myspace about there being no hell, you don't have to be Saved, stuff like that. It's really concerning me. Glad to see they still rock, tho.

  • yeah, dude - cite your source for your comment - Obviously never read anything from Dale?

  • I find the doctrine of Hell questionable at best anyway. I actually believe there is no hell now. Well all in all the same goes with heaven. There is no place of bliss where people will sit on a cloud playing a harp for an all powerful being for the rest of eternity however long that is. Eternity has been missed up as well, It actually was meant to be eaon, or eons. I mean really, would an all powerful being of mercy and grace send people he created to everlasting torment?

  • Man, he has gotten fat. Totally different looking without the hair too.

  • The hair is def a shocker. He's not fat at all though. He's apparently a body builder because he's very muscular & powerfully built.

  • I took another look. I think you're right, but it does look like he has a gut, though. I still can't get past the hair.

  • I stood backstage and watched him prepare for the show for a good 10 minutes and then talked to him for 5-6 minutes afterwards. We're not talking washboard abs, but there's no gut either. The guy has def been taking care of himself. He holds the 2006 Kentucky state record for bench pressing 510 pounds at a weight class of only 220 pounds. His wife is quite beautiful as well. They are both in their early to mid-forties and have 3 kids.

  • This is the fourth time I've seen Bride since 2001, the fifth time overall. Dale's had short-ish hair for a while, but one of the first things I noticed was that TROY got a haircut! Dude, what's with that? Hey, as long as they don't start doing Point of Grace covers, I'll be happy. :-)

  • No. I missed their show. I had to settle for a couple photos of their vocalist at Ilia's merch table. One of my daughters saw their show on one of the Encore stages and said I missed a super great show. I still have bruises from kicking myself. LOL

  • Awesome! Did u get any of Blissed?

  • I got them in 2008!!!!!
