@ArgorokKing: Actually, Yokota brought different styles to Kondo, and Kondo picked a style and Yokota ran with it. If you have the OST for the first Galaxy, you will notice that 4 or 5 songs are credited to Kondo as the composer, while the rest are credited to Yokota. Kondo did more a general overseeing of the soundtrack style, but Yokota was the one who brought the most memorable tunes (basically all of them). Kondo hasn't written a good new song in a while, sadly (Yoshi Star is a big letdown).

@ArgorokKing: This is not Koji Kondo's style of music - Mahito Yokota did 95%+ of the music for Galaxy 1 and Galaxy 2, and he is a fantastic composer.

this song also plays in the Battle Belt Galaxy! This is my favorite piece from Galaxy 2. I love playing it through nasty weather like severe thunderstorms as if I was actually in Space Storm. This is also the first Mario Game to have rain I do believe.
