This guy is great. A bit nuts but great. The only thing I can think of that might be of interest is expanding your tunnel idea and using it exclusively for supersonic travel across great distances. Having a sealed tunnel means you could swap out the air for something like helium & run maglev/tracked vehicles at the speed of sound with minimal drag. The only safety concern is that your tunnels are easy targets for terrorists.
You are right. Why do we have to drive our dirty, unsafe, and environmental-enemy cluckers when we hare these?!
