Directors making a video go where they will have most impact. Mars would have been criticized if they'd shown other's outdated video of Greenland. They made the video after being told by locals it was too dangerous. After interviewg locals they created a site that inspired many to learn about environmntl issues-not a reason to hate someones music

These three guys are extremely talented musicians, their songs (older ones especially) are all creative and brilliant. 30 Seconds to Mars are none of these things - they are an overhyped, talentless product of the opportunistic record company Virgin. J. Leto is a great actor but he is not a good musician. If he hadn't gained success as an actor we would never have heard of them. For these reasons, I respect and applaud Biffy for having the balls to tell it like it is. 30STM are utter dogshite.

Biffy, Foo Fighters and Linkin Park are my three favorite bands and it's a shame they hate LP. Biffy and Foos have been touring together and I have wished that they would also tour with LP someday but after seeing this I know it will never happen! :( But everyone have their own taste of music and i respect that.

As for American Idiot and The Black Parade both were ambitious pop punk albums but I think Green Day made a much better attempt than MCR

But the damned and murderdolls weren't ambitious, nor did they have hints of queen in their songs; but just because black parade is doesn't mean it's not gothic or punk (though i should have said it's pop punk). As for american idiot, it was great, but wasn't particularly anything new. Black Parade, on the other hand, was, and while you may not like it, it was still groundbreaking, even if twilight did make it lame.

30STM are a bit self obsessed to be fair. I was originally a fan but when i found out certain things about the singer through kerrang interviews etc i started to notice that the songs are mostly bullshit designed to make the singer feel like he is some saviour of the world or something. Unfortunately people find it hard to see past the big sounding "epic" music.

@3lyc There's a difference between being ignorant/rude and being down to earth. They are actually 3 of the most genuine, nice guys in the music industry. Just because they don't like your favourite band, doesn't mean they're not nice people. They have an opinion just like you or me. At least they don't crave attention and try all they can to get 13 year old girls to like them. They do it for the music, something most bands and artists have pushed to the side to make way for money.

These three guys are extremely talented musicians, their songs (older ones especially) are all creative and brilliant. 30 Seconds to Mars are none of these things - they are an overhyped, talentless product of the opportunistic record company Virgin. J. Leto is a great actor but he is not a good musician. If he hadn't gained success as an actor we would never have heard of them. For these reasons, I respect and applaud Biffy for having the balls to tell it like it is. 30STM are utter dogshite.

Biffy, Foo Fighters and Linkin Park are my three favorite bands and it's a shame they hate LP. Biffy and Foos have been touring together and I have wished that they would also tour with LP someday but after seeing this I know it will never happen! :( But everyone have their own taste of music and i respect that.

As for American Idiot and The Black Parade both were ambitious pop punk albums but I think Green Day made a much better attempt than MCR

Sorry about that, most people haven't heard of nightwish that i know, anyway. But the damned and murderdolls weren't ambitious, nor did they have hints of queen in their songs; but just because black parade is doesn't mean it's not gothic or punk (though i should have said it's pop punk). As for american idiot, it was great, but wasn't particularly anything new. Black Parade, on the other hand, was, and while you may not like it, it was still groundbreaking, even if twilight did make it lame.

I was originally a fan but when i found out certain things about the singer through kerrang interviews etc i started to notice that the songs are mostly bullshit designed to make the singer feel like he is some saviour of the world or something. Come on guys, go easy on them. It's not like they did it out of the blue. they were asked what they thought the worst song ever is.
