So is this a model airplane? How can you keep sight of it?

@undertakerfreak1127 Yes it's an RC plane. The plane has a small camera onboard. The footage is transmitted to the ground through a wireless video transmitter. On the ground there's a wireless receiver with 1 or more outputs. You can connect a composite source to the transmitter. In my case a recording device and video goggles. If you put the goggles on you can see the footage the plane sends to the ground in real time so it's just like you're inside the plane. This hobby is called FPV flying.

@undertakerfreak1127 it depends, it will never get very cheap but some setups, like mine, are quite affordable (below 700 dollars) but if you want to go really far, say 20km's away or beyond, you'll need some expensive equipment. Higher wattage videotransmitters, UHF radio transmitters, bigger lipo batteries. Some guys have setups of around 2000 dollars or more. Some equipment is a one time investment and you can use it for other RC planes (like the radio transmitter and video goggles).
