This short scene is kind of an apotheosis of ITMFL and 2046; tightly enclosed space, beautiful woman vamping about in 1960's gabr, being spied on ;)

Zhang Ziyi's best role imho. Look at her face when she is putting on her earrings; one hard little tart. She was playing a semi-pro in this movie.

This was truly an art film.

Every frame was carefully crafted, like an elaborate picture book.

I can't imagine how much work went into storyboarding each single frame.

It overwhelms the senses. It's one of those films you have to watch every once in a while because its like a visual overload.

A sensual and gorgeous head trip.

I was just like that in Bangkok a few years ago. After a heavy drinking session, I was sleeping on a beautiful women's shoulder in the back of a cab on the way home. It was a fantastic experience!!!
