Hey bro great video. One suggestion next time have Fido hold the camera for you! Saw your dog walk in and bark like hey I thought you were going to wait for me to help! Lol, you explained it very well should get a buddy to film you so you can concentrate on teaching. Just a suggestion.
Can i make a suggestion to everyone that wipes the air box with a rag. All your doing is pushing the dirt down towards the air intake, get a hoover, cover the end with the rag and gently wipe the inside of the air box from left to right, moving the hoover to a clean spot of the rag each time you wipe down, do it a stroke at a time. its much more effective and will stop any dirt falling down in to the air intake.
@butterflyowns sounds like a really old filter. if it is its no good. just take it out anyway you can and clean the case really good and get yourself a good k&n air filter.
Hey I found your videos extremly helpful but now I have to do a coolant flush and change on my gixxer. Can you please make a video on how to do that? Also what kind of coolant do you recommend? Sorry this is my first bike.
ok i have a k6 750 and i see allen keys screws not regular screws, are those the ones that have to come off? another thing i pushed in the thingis in too far and they fell inside the frame bar u know where your suppose to stick the long screw driver well on your bike anyways, do you know if ill be ablke to retreave them since they fell in
@ill4u2nv yes if the allen keys are on the air box. If the plug fell in the frame I'm not sure about the k6 but on my frame. There are slits that let you get things if they fall in.
Guess what I found it now another question for I'm trying to remove air filter box what is it that's holding the air box I know its the top nut and what else
@ill4u2nv theres is the top screw. Then about 12 screws around the box. 3 vacuum hoses. Then on the side of the frame there is a plug. Take it off and you can get to the valve screws. Theres 4. It should come off. Also look at my spark plug video...should help.
hey, i have a 2003 Yamaha R6, and i want to change the air filter, now it still has a stock air filter...the thing i sometimes read about is that when you have a different exhaust on the bike you have to adjust the fuel management system as well....i have a full Leo Vince exhaust on my bike....do i have to change anything else when i install a K&N air filter?? Thanks a lot buddy.
@Crockett20 deffently put the K&N on. You'll be able to tell if its running rich. If it is buy a bazzaz fuel management system. I like bazzaz cuz it reads all 4 of your injectors. Sorry for the late response.
@coquizinha awesome!! I've seen girls do a lot of things on motorcycles that guys can do. Look at my other videos and ill teach you how to change your oil and sparkplugs. Save you $100s of dollars. Thanks for watching.
wow man, dude you are the shit! my buddy pays a lot of money for a mechanic to do shit like this. I can't wait to show him this. And when I get my bike in 6 months, ain't no one but me touching my bike. Thanks to you!
its because of watching your vids that i'll be doing my own oil and air filter change once i can ride again.....so in case no one has said it....i appreciate the vids...good shyte
