He's not American, he's not Australian, he's a Kiwi (New Zealand) He's from the North Shore in Auckland New Zealand. He didn't leave NZ until he was an adult. He starred in NZ'a longest running tv drama Shortland Street (incidently the fastest filmed drama in the world) and he still has his Kiwi accent, although now with a slight American twang. He wouldn't freaking lie about where he's from idiots! I used to watch him on SS as a teenager.
