Is increasing efficiency of production bad? You seem to think so. If the government put restrictions on using machinery in production, forcing hand production of all goods, wouldn't that create so many jobs and make the economy better? Did industrialization destroy the economy because of the people who lost their jobs to machines? Absolutely not! It increased efficiency therefore production and it lowered costs therefore prices.

well the degree and career passage has to be narrowed because you don't want to risk being replaced by a foreigner or a machine. So that's why doctors and lawyers will be even more popular, right? Same with health care, like dentists, optometrists, pharmacists. This Great Recession came quickly and it's unfair to many who have degrees or not, but I'm just saying that's what we gotta consider when we look towards jobs. sure China makes our Levis and India programs our user interfaces etc, but what we Americans must do is be leaders of innovation, not be dependent on "easy" routine jobs that require no brain power. Soon lawyers, doctors, and Ph.D engineers who design and create as opposed to fabricate/build/assemble will be the norm. Advanced degrees and education will be a must. That's just the way it is going to be. Frankly, we all know people are mostly lazy, esp. in obese America. Gotta pay up now.
